  1. Whatever so called “rights” the aboriginal tribes had to the land in question has been settled years ago. Get over it and move on. I am getting tired of paying for the so called sins of early European settlers. The bad whities screwing the poor innocent red man is wearing thin.

  12. It is becoming increasingly obvious that unless you must attend a university in the Western World for a specific job or occupation, you are wasting valuable time, your parents hard earned money and the hard earned tax dollars of the public.

  13. Seriously — Did they rename Foreigh Affairs “Global Affairs”?? Nothing like being transparent about their globalist agenda. “Foreign Affairs” suggests a perspective (that of the home country). “Global affairs” connotes that our perspective is that of the world.
    Canada’s traditions and heritage are being undermined and our interests are coming in second to those of the “world”. Personally, I think a country should reflect its own interests as a priority. Maybe that makes me a poor “citizen of the world” — but history is filled with ruinous attempts by top-down bureaucracies to fix things. The Soviet Union and Eastern Germany — in fact, all of Eastern Europe — are prime examples. I guess each generation must learn these lessons anew. Canada has gone over to the dark side for sure, and has little awareness that this has happened. Canadians should be alarmed — very alarmed. It is also worth noting that I am sure these ideas did not come from JT (though undoubted he supports them). Who exactly is running our government???

  17. While the message is on, the messenger is far too conflicted to be immune from complicity. He endorsed the Spawn and yet he can act as if the nihilism of multiculturalism, personified by PET’s scion, is somehow irrelevant? Progressives own this culture and as history gets in the way of the pious narratives enforced by these looters and thugs, it must be subtly and progressively extinguished from the curricula. This is just a symbolic tip of the iceberg.
    The current trajectory of the apartheid industry is one where we are heading to the socially and commercially intolerable situation where 97% of the nation’s people are tenants of an unproductive (welfare-corrupted) racial legacy defined as 1/16 or better native Indian purity. No Canadian Prime minister in recent history has had the guts to question this direction let alone do anything about it. It will inevitably lead to civil “unrest”.

  18. I’ve seen a lot of media and progressive types retweeting that article. I couldn’t read the entire article because of the paywall so bear that in mind.
    The ideas seems to be adapt or die and it’s their own fault. Essentially, working class whites are irresponsible and unwilling to change. So, let them suffer. Fair enough, Social Darwinism is not an uncommon thought among libertarians but they also tend to be consistent about it. One wonders how many progressives and conservatives would also be consistent and extend the idea to other groups – immigrants, minorities or the media industry, auto industry, aerospace industry, financial industry, art and cultural industry. etc. I suspect not. The bigotry against working class whites is deeply embedded into the psyche of the chattering class.
    While there are valid points about personal responsibility and adaptation, there is also the hand of government interference. Regulations and policies do have consequences : creeping credentialism, minimum wage laws, competition for work with foreign workers, EPA regs on the resource sector, restrictive building codes, too many licensing laws, the drug war, high electricity rates, etc. These problems cut across racial lines and almost always hit the working class and underprivileged class the hardest.
    I think the lack of experience growing up in mixed income neighbourhoods and the internalization of white guilt has made too many upper middle class people blind and bigoted. Failure to understand the situation and to instead engage in name-calling and shaming will only escalate the problems. They would never tolerate that kind of victim blaming if it was any group other than working class whites.

    He tosses around such phrases in an effort so sound as if he’s enlightened, a trail-blazer, a man with a mission. All he’s really doing is showing is intellectual shallowness. Air pudding does not signify greatness.
    “Global Affairs” sounds either like a tawdry reality show or a federal department concerned with a second-rate Canadian TV network.

It finally produced a report whose every recommendation Junior promised to implement before he or any of his minions had even read the thing. This time we can only hope that the nation wises up enough to remove Junior from power before the report comes out. I’m not holding my breath.

    !969 White Paper on Indian Policy P Trudeau and J Chretien, it recommended scrapping the Indian Act.
    !991 Royal Commission on Aboriginal People
    40000 pages with recommendations to be implemented over 20 years.
    Truth and reconciliation Commission 2008 94 calls to action, which Trudeau gas promised to fulfill.
    Current study on missing aboriginal women.
    Not to be outdone, K. wynne has promised an Ont supplement to the current study for another $100m.
    The question is why can’t C Bennett and K Wynne or whoever not pore through these tomes and get some of their answers there? I mean 4000 pages, there must be some substantive information within, or has anybody in Liberal government actually read through it? There is no expectation that the current study will be any more successful at solving native problems, than the previous efforts.
