    Four adult male victims are in hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a mass shooting following a funeral in Cochrane on Friday.

    The funeral had ended when a violent altercation occurred.

I was watching another ”Hate Trump” production tonight, this time on CBC.Ca’s ”The Fifth Estate.” The paid for by the Liberal government’s propaganda machine has gone as far as mimicking what will happen after ”The Donald” is elected, if and when he does get elected. And I don’t want to be misread here. Donald Trump is not my choice of candidate, much like the CBC is not my choice of network.
    However, my personal take on the reason that Donald trump is popular in the USA and abroad is simple. People are fed up of having their governments (at all levels) push legislation that is going against the wishes and desires of the majority of the public. Right here in Canada, at the early onset of Trudeau’s announcement that they would be allowing 25,000 refugees into this country in a space of time that did not allow security agencies to do a proper screening, 85% of people opposed the move. Yet where are the 25,000 refugees today??
    When I posted the above paragraph on CBC.Ca, they deleted my comment. Question. If Donald Trump became Prime Minister of Canada tomorrow, would he let 25,000 refugees into Canada, and from a nation that is technically at war with us? Of course not. Not anymore that Mackenzie King and the Liberals would have let 25,000 German refugees into Canada in 1944 when we were at war with Nazi Germany. Yet today, anyone from the right who would oppose allowing reckless numbers of immigrants into this country, like the Liberals have recently announced, would have the CBC nipping at his or her heels, much like they are doing tonight against ”The Donald.”
    In closing, who is really behind the CBC’s hatred of Donald Trump?? I don’t know if any of your recall the Fifth Estate’s hate campaign against Brian Mulroney a few years ago, after he had been defeated. Going as far as traveling to Germany with a full TV crew and interviewing Karlheinz Schreiber, who now sits in his home serving a 6.5 year sentence on house arrest for a multi million Euro tax fraud conviction in Germany. I believe they (CBC Fifth Estate) produced several full length productions on this topic. At what cost? We’ll never know. What purpose did the (CBC) serve? Well, they did get enough Canadians to dislike the Conservatives to get Trudeau elected. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

  13. I also watched the CBC-5th ‘mockumentary’ on Trump. The “Establishment” and particularly the Smug Lieberal Establishment is really scared this time. They know he has a good shot at POTUS and it gets better every day. It’s like the ‘Kings New Set of Clothes” parable; they know that Trump won’t put up with their shît, and their faux politically-correct fantasy world will implode. While McKeown’s sarcastic overtone tried to make the usual lieberal case that ‘Trump is stupid and only stupid people support him’, he only demonstrated the elitist ‘we know what’s best for you, because we’re smarter’ attitude that makes people want Trump as president. McKeown and his ilk forget that it’s a popularity contest, and Trump is a master at being popular. America deserves Trump as President.

    Isaac Asimov was the best SF writer on the subject of AI. His 3 laws for robots is still the basis for most robot AI stories and was referred to in the movie “I Robot” starring Will Smith (not one of his best movies). Really, the man has nothing going on in his head — he just spouts his lines as directed. This was pretty obvious during the Canadian election debates.     Well I know this Plainzfyre, there was a cost we do know about. Mulroney sued CBC/the Fifth Estate for defamation, won and was awarded $1M of taxpayers’ money, which I understand he used for his legal fees and gave the rest to charity.
    Nobody got fired, nobody got criticized, nothing. There’s no accountability and no ethics in our addled fourth estate. The so-called Fifth Estate concentrates that incompetence and dishonesty via the taxpayers’ buck.
    Harper should have crushed these fiends from day one. It’s easy to say that retrospectively, but he should have.

    With the hot air that Trudeau has been blowing in Washington, I’m sure methane levels must rising sharply over the Capitol. I do however take that methane BS with a grain of salt. The chemical composition of domestic natural gas is anywhere from 87% to 97% methane, the balance is made up of butane and pentane, with traces of nitrogen, CO2, oxygen, hexane and propane. (Source-Union Gas.)
    Natural gas is being emitted from swamps, soil, manure, human waste, the sea and dozens of other sources at all times. How do they propose to capture it??
