  1. Yeah we all want these idiots running Saskatchewan/SARC. I have to wonder how many federal liberals have facebook and twitter ghosts that were not found in the last election.

  3. Another fine example of “Ineptocracy”. We, gullible Canadians that we are, accept that the people that we elect into office to manage the affairs of state are somehow more intelligent than we are ourselves and yet we keep repeating the same mistake after untold examples to the contrary. I believe that is the definition of stupid, is it not? If the Provincial NDP in Saskatchewan cannot ‘Vet’ their own candidates why in Heavens Name do we think that the Liberals were able to vet 25,000 Syrian refugees before bringing them here. And do you really think that they can be removed from Canada as easily as getting a name removed from a candidates list?

  4. How careless of them to let the mask slip and reveal their true character to the voters. No doubt emergency orders have gone out to all NDP candidates to maintain the charade until after being elected.

  5. In a way I feel some empathy for poor Mr. Broten. It must be extremely difficult to find someone to run under the NDP banner who doesn’t have, shall we say, “issues”. On the other hand, I’m quite sure that Broten would be perfectly content with any oddball running as an NDP candidate providing that the whackiness remained out of the public view. That being said, I take back my opening sentence.

  6. I could really care less about some childish posts these clowns put up on the interweb somewhere and don’t think it merits them stepping out of public service. But…having said that, I do enthusiastically support using the same cudgel to clobber these guys that they have so gleefully used in the past against conservatives. I have to say…it looks good on them. Maybe when they decide to have an honest debate about the issues as opposed to shouting “racist, bigot, etc” then the cudgels can be shelved. Until then, conservatives have to use the same slings and arrows the left uses.
    (note: all reference to cudgels, slings, arrows and clowns are entirely metaphoric and should in no way be used in the future to hamper any runs for public office on my part.) 😉

  8. How DARE these NDP candidates reveal their TRUE selves and TRUE thoughts on social media. They failed to wash their TRUE opinions through the political spin cycle before WEARING them in public. Shame on all you NDPs who didn’t cloak themselves …

    There are many in the Generation X and more recent generations whose life revolves around social media, especially on the left but not restricted to the left, who will find their future political aspirations dashed when exposed. This was discussed today at our local Sask Party campaign office opening ribbon cutting. The candidate indicated that the Sask Party was pretty thorough in vetting their candidates.
    It seems those on the left that are more radical and deeply invested in leftist politics and thus possible future candidates find it difficult to not verbalize their hatred of anyone on the right. Sometimes it is relatively benign like the Liberals suggesting anyone who does not believe the way they do is a bad Canadian, but quite often degenerates to the level in rejoicing at the death of conservatives or wishing them ill.

    balancing countless variables that are never the same month to month year to year.
    putting it all on the line, forced to put their ‘eggs in one basket’ (pun intended) because that’s the ONLY way to compete with the factory farms.
    18 hour days during harvesting at the mercy of the weather.
    dealing with the flightiness of politishuns creating catch-22s and refuse to admit it. etc etc.
    ya. stupid farmers.

  17. No doubt the media will attempt to portray Broten as the hero for turfing these cretins prior to the election but, in reality, they were caught with their collective pants down around their knees and left him with no choice.
    Mr. Broten was on the radio today self-righteously expressing his hopes that the campaign would not spiral downward into everybody researching past indiscretions of their opponents. You can safely bet the farm that the NDP have been diligently searching for any dirt on Sask Party candidates and have been paying “volunteers” $17 an hour to do just that.
    Sorry Cam. Just because you guys seem incapable of properly vetting candidates doesn’t mean that you’re going to get a pass for nominating lunatics.

  18. ah yah, cat slipped the bag. Trump is doing some close to the edge stuff and he gets pillared, now we get to see what the rest are like in politics, makes Trump look run O the mill.
    Antenor, they wouldn’t be in politics if they were “smarter” than me, well ‘cept they be trough feeders and “ideologs”. There is a reason I sat that Christians should leave their bibles at home when in politics, and we are discussing it in here.

  19. Well Broten did say he was going to reduce the number of MLA’s by 6, he’s 2/3 of the way there.
