  1. The author of the article is a moron. “People have choices about how to react to tragedy. Ahmed could have decided to go back to school and devote his life to designing systems to improve car safety. Or persuading Libyans to use seat belts; his sister probably would have survived the accident if she’d been using one, but almost no Libyans do.”
To paraphrase Oscar Wilde, one would have to have a heart of stone not to laugh at the author.

  2. Old cougar misses non choosey Muslim boy toy who died for filthy Islam. A modern fairytale of lust and losers.

  3. It is rIt is obvious that the woman is smitten by her friend and does not have it all together in her swooning head.
As she begins the article she insists that the whole world is responsible for her amore’s death.
Not living in the real world, a useless to anybody else, dreamer.
    ather dificcult
Could’ve, would’ve is of zero importance, is is what is.

  4. When I first read the headline I thought it might have been written by sacha Trudeau . He swoons over big men too

  5. My reaction -exactly. Kinda reminds of the women who “date” murderers in prison … like Scott Peterson who decapitated his pregnant wife and dumped her body in the SF Bay. These women are just sad, pathetic, broken toys.

  6. I was a bit stunned by reading this: “Life isn’t difficult in Libya: housing is cheap, food is cheap, gas is cheap.” Isn’t this just the opposite of what we are being spoon fed by a pro-Euro-immigrant media ? That life in Muzlimland is sooooooooo horrifyingly awful, that these poor, poor, Mohammedans have NO CHOICE but to flood into Europe. I would assume that Ms. Merkel is privy to the facts on the ground in Libya … so what’s her REAL motivation for destroying European culture ?

  7. Or maybe this young man might have been an inventor of a new type of weapon which kills with more pain than any other weapon ever invented and the world is now a safer place.
Guess it depends on which side of the military complex your perspective is.
Nice to see the vehicles come with some pretty impressive options on the console. Or is that the barrier separating the men from the women in the Libyan culture?

  8. Just after I met him, he captured seven of Muammar Kaddafi’s soldiers without firing a shot.
That is not exactly a high bar by which to judge his mad skillz.
And Ahmed was a naturally talented soldier.
    Evidently not.

  9. Old cougar misses non choosy Muslim boy toy.
She regrets not bringing him home to service her in the car as her chauffeur.
To work or clean service her in the Garden, or give her Pool service..

  10. I’m baffled how all these wallflowers catch the progressive disease,or is it now hereditary.
If Elizabeth May and Omar had a daughter, it would be like Ms. Marlowe.

  11. “But Ahmed didn’t like school and he was making good money for not much work as a thuwar, or revolutionary.”
Jesus wept…he didn’t like school. Just like every useless thug parasite in our part of the world, the swine Bernie Sanders is reaching out to.
You reap what you sow: true 2000 years ago, just as true now.

  12. Ann Marlowe, the author of this puff piece ….. older and richer now but sadly no wiser than when she was 19….. still loving the “dangerous” men.

  13. ” And by and large, the West stood by as Libya committed suicide by militia in the last few years.”
No, NATO including the British, French, and US destroyed the Libyan Government and then walked away. The militias just stepped into the vacuum.
“We came, We saw, and Qadaffi Died.”
    — Hillary Rodham Clinton

  14. I, too, thought the headline referred to Sacha Trudeau swooning over another jihadist. Instead, it’s a middle-aged sympathizer who misses her ”friend”. And I. Don’t. Care.
