1. when peace *finally* came to Northern Ireland, some of the former opponents turned to drug dealing and organized crime to maintain their positions of power, using all their old tricks and connections in the process. dramatized in the film ‘Veronica Guerin’.
   thus exposing their true colours, kinda like Islam today, an excuse to commit mayhem and death to achieve and maintain power at any cost. and yes, if Islam is ultimately a religion of violence and conquest the point still stands. you just expand the number of followers that share that view.
   politishuns are the worst for this duplicity.
