  1. I’d make a video of me painting a wall, but I’m “less gifted” than Ms. Schaefer (and I’d hate myself if I asked for or accepted funding for that sort of nonsense).

  2. Please … it’s Monday morning. I feel like writing a song!
    Maybe two:
    Monday Morning
    I don’t like Mondays.

  3. If she’s looking for funding, you’d think she could at least take her gear off….

  4. “…new possibilities for collaborations with these everyday machines…”
New? The auto-door shtick has been done for many years by 5-year-olds.
Watch for her episode on “electric-vibrator” collaboration.

  5. I J,,,,, if you were real good at it maybe you could cover the cost of the paint. funny world world we live in eh.

  6. Many decades ago I worked for a year in psychiatric hospital, we had patients who would walk up and down halls like this doing things in patterns that only their minds could understand. They were mentally ill…not jumping to any conclusions.

  7. I am going to jump to a conclusion. If she’s not mentally ill, it’s a scam to get paid from public funds to do nothing. I am jumping to the conclusion that she’s not mentally ill.

  8. Really? I’ve got a couple of walls downstairs that could use some, er, “performance art”.

  9. We are expecting more snow in Calgary, I wonder if she would do some performance art in front of my house with a broom, we could call it, “Away with the Flakes”.

  10. If she was doing that here in Canada, she’d probably qualify for a government grant, sort of like Monty Python portrayed in its Ministry of Silly Walks sketch.

  11. As someone who believes that ALL ART is the greatest expression of our humanity which transcends our earthly experience … I allowed myself to fully absorb her artistry with the sliding doors. I found myself searching for the meaning of WHY some doors simply did not open for her. Shouldn’t ALL of the doors be automatically opening for her ? OMG ! She is portraying how doors are closed to chubby girls like her. How even an electronically-controlled door perceives her grotesque physiognomy and REFUSES to open for her. Wow, sister ! I F-E-E-L your P-A-I-N … for being judged as an UGLY, FAT, woman. Wow. Deep. Then, I realized I needed a bathroom break and forgot all about it.

  12. I have seen so many grants for studies and support for Questionable art projects That I don’t know how
any person is able to judge what is acceptable .Billions is granted to those who are experts at making
out applications. Knowing a few Key Words and being on the CORRECT side of the issue is usually sufficient.
