As was mentioned to me recently, and to which I found myself in agreement, “I hope the incrementalist Conservatives are paying attention. The liberals are slashing and burning their way back to Trudeaupia and they’ve only been in power for what – a week?”
If Liberals are serious about reducing Carbon emissions in Canada they need to close the door to ALL immigration right now and for decades, at least until the planet starts cooling down.
One can not be for reducing Carbon and importing hordes of immigrants at the same time.
Each immigrant will consume precious resources – to heat their house, to drive their car around, to feed their kids – and will emit carbon.
If Trudeau imports 25,000 Syrian ” refugees” that is 25,000 people who will make Canada’s carbon foot print larger.
Liberals must put a complete stop to ALL immigration if they are serious about saving the planet.
