Watching Justin Grow

The future’s looking bright:

(Justin) Trudeau (has been) named to Forbes Magazine’s list of The World’s Most Powerful People in 2015. He’s the first Canadian politician to make the list in the seven years Forbes has been tallying up power.

Umm, derp-derp:

What makes Trudeau’s inclusion unique is that he was named before he had even assumed office.

Surely the Nobel Prize can’t be far behind.

  1. I used to fill out a lot of Stats Canada forms for clients. My favourite was the transportation one that would have taken a day to do that I could usually shortcut to 10 minutes. They are using these to plan the economy? When it asked for kilometers driven I divided revenue by some arbitrary dollars per kilometer number. For fuel consumption, I divided fuel cost by some arbitrary mpg number. I’m sure I was no more than 30% out. I guessed at the rest.
If everyone ticked the transgendered box on the census form, the results would be rendered meaningless. If questions, we could be absolutely mortified that information provided in confidence would be questioned.

You mean the leader of a 3rd party in a small country lagging close to 20% in the polls is among the 100 most powerful people? Did the retards pick him because he is a retard too?

  3. A lot of people believe that Trudeau is French. He is 1/4 Elliott and 1/2 Sinclair, good Scots. His mother would have taught him a stupid version of English but English was a first language. He also went to an English university, McGill. He is illiterate because he is stupid, not because of lack of exposure to English.

  4. Yeah…..’cause Congress has such a stellar record in getting enough votes to override the edicts of Comrade Obama.

  5. http://www.defenders.org/fisher/basic-facts-about-fishers
A “Fisher” is a member of the weasel family, a distant relative of many Liberals.
    Like me, you are possibly a fisher-MAN. My wife,as I am a heterosexual, is a fisher-woman.
I filled out the LFC a couple of times back in the 90’s,can’t wait to do it again. I will be truthful and will consider every question with the gravity it deserves.
Justin was 69th, so it’s a given that he will lose the Arctic to Number One.

  6. Way back in the 80’s I did the LF census.
One of the questions was ‘how many residents at midnight on such a date ?’ or something similar.
I wrote ‘just me and Mila, please don’t tell Brian’.
They called me up about a month later and warned me about making false statements and outlined the consequences, and asked me again.
The conversation went downhill, but I did declare that Mila was not there THAT evening.
The bureaucrats were humourless. I’m hoping to get another LFC.

  7. He’s probably relieved he’ll no longer have to deal with the pack of ass-kissers who started slagging him off to any MSM hack with an open mike the minute he resigned as leader.
No wonder he did everything himself. He clearly had no choice. It’s now obvious he had no reason to trust a living soul in Ottawa, not even in his own party.
By the way, a Canadian patriot only needs to spare two words for a journalist whose patriotism is at all in doubt.
    In English: No comment.
    In French: Va chier.

  8. Scar, You are correct on Justine`s language skills and abilities. His mom is a Vancouver anglophone hippie and he lived with her more often than with Pierre T. The kids probably spoke more English than French among themselves. Her second husband was also an Ottawa anglophone developer. Growing up in Ottawa at that time meant that one did not really learn good skills in any language – I was there then. The kids went to Anglophone schools, I think. Ottawa French is quite unique and is very different from French spoken by graduates of University de Montreal, which Justine tries to emulate. As you said, he went to McGill, but his first language is hippie West Coast English.
