Well previously I won the lottery and got to fill out the long form census . I was really happy ,because with a small business I only have about 300 government forms /deadlines to deal with . Keep in mind they don’t put you in jail for most of them for late or noncompliance ( at least not right away ) ,they just impose large fines and interest charges. Anyway , I filled it out using my best guesses. Some of the questions would have required significant time to answer accurately . I live in a small town , where I sometimes ( once a year ) go for coffee to find out what I have been doing. Low and behold I get A phone call from a neighbour working for stats Canada questioning some of my answers. yep, it’s real private.
An aside – I heard Ralph Goodale on John Gormley. Remember c51 ? The flawed one the Liberals supported ? The one they were going to change for the better ? Well my take by what Goodale said is they are actually going to expand powers and oversight of that bill . Go figure !

I suspected all along that the delay was never related to environmental concerns simply because the EPA dismissed any notions of significant environmental impact on the actual pipeline itself. He’s trying to protect Venezuela’s access to refinery markets on the Gulf coast (via tankers no less… lol) because that trade comprises now 96% of Venezuela’s total foreign exports and US dollar income. Imagine what would happen if that socialist wonderland lost even just 25% of that market.
