Regardless of the outcome at tomorrow’s polls, in an environment in which a lie about a Conservative gets halfway round the world before the Liberals and their media bedpartners can finish their cigarettes — whose idea was it to put the pooping puffin crew back on the campaign payroll?
Open thread.

Very thoughtful and well-written piece although somewhat dreary and depressing. C’mon folks. It ain’t over yet. This isn’t Montana, it isn’t June of 1876 and we’re not being led by George Armstrong Custer. I, for one, am still hopeful for a majority Conservative result and I won’t be satisfied with anything less.
I fear the mindless idiots that make up most of the populace of my home province – Ontario – will lead to the voting in of the idiot man-child Trudeau. A very frightening proposition, to say the least. Considering many of my fellow Ontarians I interact with seem to have forgotten how much the Liberals have screwed us here it’s an extremely sad commentary on who – these days – pass as supposedly intelligent adults. But, I digress.
If there isn’t a majority for the Liberals stay tuned for an exodus of the NDPers elected in QC to the Liberals to ensure a coalition minority government led by Trudeau. Of course, Mulcair could be an outright liar (actually we know that already) and he will strike a power sharing deal with Trudeau – particularly if he gets wind of the defections from his QC members.
I was at a polling station this morning for three hours and observed people get cleared to vote using just about anything short of a hand written note. The list of accepted identifications is longer than I thought possible.
You must have had a nutty person working her polling station because it would appear that so long as you actually live in the area, it would be hard not to be cleared to vote.
This one would be someone taking the rules into their own hands as it doesn’t jive with what I saw first hand this morning.
