  1. “I, an ethnic minority woman, cannot be racist or sexist towards white men, because racism and sexism describe structures of privilege based on race and gender.
“Therefore, women of colour and minority genders cannot be racist or sexist, since we do not stand to benefit from such a system.”
I’ve had first hand experience with Black and Asian people also asserting that they can’t be racist. Beyond calling someone out on such rampant denial, what more can one do?

  2. No, she absolutely should be charged. Changing the law is what you really mean.
If the law is on the books and is used against those who speak out against Islam, it absolutely needs to be applied here.

“she is Goldsmiths University’s student union welfare and diversity officer”
    that’s too precious.
in a similar vein, i keep telling the toronto activist group, “queers against israeli apartheid” they should take a bus tour of the arab middle east, but so far, inexplicably, no one seems to be that enthusiastic.

  4. I think it was D.C. where the local radfems successfully instituted a “there must be an arrest in any domestic violence call” law and then quietly had it dropped a few years later because staggeringly large numbers of women were being arrested since they were often the sole aggressor.
    Reality always, always wins.

  5. “to answer charges of sending a threatening letter or communication or sending by public communication network an offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing message”
We’re all in trouble if language that offends gets you a criminal charge, says me, a white man.
Stating that you can’t be racist unless it benefits you is puerile.
“Also, if you’ve been invited and you’re a man and/or white PLEASE DON’T COME just cos I invited a bunch of people and hope you will be responsible enough to respect this is a BME Women and non-binary event only.”
She said right there that she wants to be the beneficiary of respect.
    -puerile reasoning-

  6. Tough to make any charge stick with this flake.
She has a slam dunk insanity plea face that
lawyers can usually only dream about

  7. Living in their own self created racist solipsism.
Anybody can be a racist towards others; it’s easy, just pick the color you despise the most and act accordingly. Whether the object of your ‘affectation’ is pink, white, yellow, red, brown, black or blue for that matter.
Of course if they are blue they might already be dead…
Evidently, this brilliant student hasn’t passed an elementary logic class either.
Her penalty should be remedial logic classes and a few courses in classical philosophy.

  8. Are women a “minority gender”???
Seems that 50.8% of the population of the U.S. is “female”.
Hmmm 50.4% of the population of Canada is “female”.
So we men are in fact a “minority gender”……who knew…

  9. Interesting
USA and Canada different, maybe because the trayvon Martin crowd tend to wipe there own kind
Like the elephant in the room in Canada where a First Nations male us 70 times more likely to kill a First Nations female than one the white boys

  10. “Therefore, women of colour and minority genders cannot be racist or sexist, since we do not stand to benefit from such a system.”
Oh, really? How then do you explain your six figure university salary?

  11. Cosmic justice will not be served in this hate crime until a painful corporal punishment is administered which her father failed to do – and saddled society with another self-interested neurotic basket case.

  12. She absolutely should be charged and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the absurd Orwellian law she supported. Always apply to the enemy the same standard the enemy applies to you. Keep hurting them using their own methods until they stop using these methods themselves.

  13. Well, concidering this is taking place in the UK, I really don’t care, but, and it is a big one, there are two scary points in this story.
The first is that you can be charged with a crime for expressing your (sick) views, and,
second, there is actually an institution that would hire this flake.
Keep in mind that when I went to urinal-versity I was in engineering and as such dealt with facts and science. A lot of us had trouble with trying to explain to the english prof just what Albert Camus was actually thinking when he wrote some literary nonsense a hundred years ago. We did know what Lady Godiva was thinking though…

  14. The flake undoubtedly believes all the swill she was taught at university.
I agree that the law should be repealed, freedom of speech restored, and she should be fired instead of jailed or charged.

  15. Question that must always be asked of SJW. What if, as a white male, I identify as an ethnic minority woman?????

  16. Bruce, is that you? you VW hanging student you.
    Two great points, thanks.

  17. @Texas Canuck “We did know what Lady Godiva was thinking though”
Ah yes, I recall the lady on her horse at my campus in 1967 during Engineering week. I don’t think they do this anymore. (nobody is interested in history anymore)
