Months later, the OPM and Department of Defense (DoD) confessed that “Of the 21.5 million individuals whose Social Security Numbers and other sensitive information were impacted by the breach, the subset of individuals whose fingerprints have been stolen has increased from a total of approximately 1.1 million to approximately 5.6 million.”

lots and lots and lots and lots of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ and attention setting up the ultra secret eavesdropping systems . . . . . . .
where are the priorities? oh, right. big brother syndrome.
a.k.a. who do you call when it’s the authorities the greatest offender?
They’ve got my info (brother works for the feds).
I’m a lot less concerned about what the government has than what Google and Apple have.
Namely EVERYTHING.
Government is a cluster f- at best, things get done more by good luck than good management.
Apple and Google otoh are learning what we -like-, and then showing it to us. The experience of constantly being exposed to things you want to buy or have may actually be worse than having Big Brother knowing what you’re doing all the time. Both individually and as a society.
The Stasi, the Gestapo, the KGB, all gone. All history.
Volkswagen, Baer, Walther, Messerschmidt, Kalashnikov, all still in business.
They’re just letting Obamba know that they do have the real goods on his background. He’d better play ball or they’ll let the American public know.
“They’re just letting Obamba know”
Obama is likely their man. Remember first Pres Obama Christmas how it was reported that he had a Chairman Mao ornament to hang on the tree? Yeah, Manchurian Candidate.
Let’s not forget that OPM was not hacked. Software maintenance OPM contract was given to a PRC based company by the Obama administration.
So how many hacked fingers is the Obama-Nation™ going to lop off, to reestablish security? 🙂
Cheers
