It’s unsurprising how many I got wrong.

Not to take any credit, but I have thought what Green writes about for many decades.
The ghost of Alexandra Kollontai is alive and well in our society and wreaking its havoc all too successfully. By and large it is too late to rectify, and the barbarian invasion from the east will finish it off.
Just as an aside, somewhat, it is interesting to note the number of invasions of Europe from the east that have occurred over the last few thousands of years. Most were eventually absorbed, the Tatars were finally sent packing, but the current one will totally turn back civilization to a tribal barbarism. And, what Green talks about will allow this to happen.

Mr Kulak Ken makes a good point. Western culture has been absorbing conquering barbarians for over 2,000 years. It has been one of the strengths of our culture that Huns, Hittites, Ostragoths, Vandals, etc. have made some contributions to that culture but have, overall, been assimilated into it. No doubt that there are academics somewhere who mourn the “cultural genocide” involved in the disappearance of the languages, customs, and folk tales of those peoples, but I’m not one of them, and, to be honest, I’ve never heard the issue come up among the morning crowd at Tim’s.
The hallmark of Western culture has been its creativity and its aspirations, born of its self-confidence. Now, having replaced that self-confidence with self-loathing, the West appears to be a gibbering paralytic, unable to act, or even speak, to defend itself and its people.

It’s taken me a long long time to fully internalize the notion that the hard left’s job 1 is the destruction of the family. But I finally understand the WHY of it. Good strong families are the chief bulwark against the depredations of the permanently expanding state.
On vacation in Newfoundland recently I tried to explain the project to a very old friend and his wife who have young grandchildren, in the context of a discussion about all this disgusting exposure of young children to, not mere sex education, but sexual techniques; the gender identity bullshit; the trans bullshit; the homosexual marriage Mary-has-two-daddies bullshit.
I explained that the project is the destruction of the family and told them about the Frankfurt School of cultural Marxists. They thought it was conspiracy theory and gave it short shrift.
Ironically I disinvited myself from his mother’s 90th birthday party because I thought I’d be in the way.
He told me after that there were 90 people in attendance. ALL family. That’s a veritable tribe I told him!

I absolutely don’t believe that 99.99% of Leftists believe/know that any of the policies they support are destructive in any way. The problem is that most of their views stem from First Stage Thinking based purely on emotion, not logic. Plus, a good share of them, male & female, have lifelong daddy issues; their views are simply the opposite of what they believe their [conservative] father would think.

Not surprised here…Gwen Landolt of REAL Women has been saying this for years.

One of the first policies the Bolos implemented in the Soviet Union in the early 1920s was to supplant the family unit by dividing the family and turning the children against the parents and the parents against each other. This was done through brainwashing in the schools and closing the churches which provided the moral foundation.
Guess what we have today in not only this country, but in the US and in western countries in general. The only major holdouts to this family destruction are the eastern European countries.

To bring america down one of the first rules of the left is to destroy the traditional american family its being done in the schools,collages,universities and in hollywood and our own goverment
