A Cambridge Professor has made the astonishing claim that three scientists investigating the melting of Arctic ice may have been assassinated within the space of a few months.
Professor Peter Wadhams said he feared being labelled a “looney” over his suspicion that the deaths of the scientists were more than just an ‘extraordinary’ coincidence.
But he insisted the trio could have been murdered and hinted that the oil industry or else sinister government forces might be implicated.
Now, what were you saying about this problem with “anti-intellectualism”?
I am not really anti-intellectual nor are most conservatives. Sarah Palin was not an idiot nor was Ann Coulter. If they were, they wouldn’t make liberal morons foam at the mouth with rage.
I think it is more accurate to say we are against the self-proclaimed intellectuals and those that would pose as our ‘moral and intellectual superiors’ (as our hostess so elegantly refers to them). I am a critical thinker and I will not let stupid people pervert science OR religion in order to get the better of me.

I believe OPEC and other giant entities like GE (Solar panels, windmills) are the biggest financiers of the propaganda.

He never struck me as, shall we say, the brightest light on the Christmas tree. Probably got his professorhip for bravery (at least one piece of field work was harrowing) not for intellect.

Yeah, let me take a stab at this.
1. Prof. Laxon…fell down steps on New Year’s Eve. I’m going to go out on a limb and suggest you take a look at the blood alcohol content on the coroner’s report.
2. Dr. Giles was hit by a bus while riding her bike. This is obviously a prime example of irony. And, irony can, of course, be dangerous.
3. Dr. Boyd was struck by lightning. This, also, proves the point that Mother Nature has a wicked sense of humor…and loves irony.
All of those deaths can be clearly linked to climate change. Slippery stairs eh, an overheated bus driver and well, weather which we’ve never had before. IOW they were micro-assassinations.
