Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

It’s not only the Suzuki left, it is many more.
The Guy Fawkes mask is also popular with the Occupy movement and the young Trudeau wore the same style of facial hair for ‘Movember’.

look more and more like his dad Keef Richards everyday .
Indications on Twitter that he’s the guy shot dead by RCMP outside a Site C protest in Dawson Creek. Wonder where the LWNJ intend to derive the power to charge their laptops; fossil fuels are horrible, hydro & nukes are unacceptable. Are they really that stupid that they believe industrial development of solar & wind have little effect on the environment & wildlife habitat?
If the guy shot was the one issuing those threats, I personally consider his demise to be a very minimal loss to humanity.
I am not a lawyer, but isn’t Jay Mack committing a crime, inciting criminal behavior?
… and sending thinly veiled death threats.
Well at least he is not disagreeing with feministas so clearly this does not count as harassment.
It seems that Bill 51 is very timely!

Nah old news, the solution is to destroy Iran and thus destroy shia Islam followed by the destruction of sunni Islam. Then there would be peace and satans people would be gone. Then we just cruise in and take all the oil.
Better to let the Shia and Sunni kill each other and support rational people like the Kurds and Christians.
Gee, ya men that all that suck-holing that Chevron did to the lefties didn’t work?
Ya gotta be kiddin’!

“Indications on Twitter that he’s the guy shot dead by RCMP outside a Site C protest in Dawson Creek.”
The way skull boy there is talking, he thinks he’s bullet proof -lefty had to die to learn a simple lesson even a rat knows.
It might be a case of “Crouching Protester, Hidden Doofus”…
So the enviro-freaks are going to go all anonymous ninja on the police…?
I’m sure that will turn out well for them.
Cheers

If he’s one & the same as the deceased I may spoken too soon about, sounds like the guy may have been one damn fine dishwasher. http://www.alaskahighwaynews.ca/dawson-creek/police-shooting-victim-identified-as-james-mcintyre-1.2006178
Well, if Jay Mack is the one the police shot, then I would say his demise is a net benefit. Too bad he could not be a decent human being, then his death would be a loss as are the deaths of all decent people.
In which case he has earned a golden pancake – an award also known as St Rachel Corrie Cross with Patchouli Leaves.
What was he going to use to make the firebombs?
And from whom was he going to buy the carbon offsets?
David Suzuki and Bill Nye need to be marooned on a island somewhere too nuts on the same island
Old News: you must get your talking points from CBC. Reality is that the government has raised the UCCB (Universal Child Care Benefit, for children five and under) by $60 per month to $160 per month, effective 1st January, 2015. Which is why there is a big payment in July: in addition to the normal $160 per qualifying child, there is a “catch-up” payment of $360 (6 x $60). By the way, the UCCB is taxable income, and must be reported on the tax return of the lower income spouse. There are special rules for a single-parent household.
HOWEVER, the government also extended the $60 payment to all children under 18. So anyone whose children fall into the 6 – 17 age bracket is entitled to this $60 per month per qualifying child. Again, this is retroactive to 1st January, 2015, so the July payment will be $420 (7 x $60) per qualifying child; $60 per month thereafter. However, the children have to registered to receive this benefit, so that parents whose income is high enough to disqualify them from receiving the Canada Child Tax Benefit (a non-taxable benefit meant to help lower income families) may well not have registered their children and will have to register them (think the relevant form is an RC66) in order to get the new benefit.
So, contrary to your assertion, the government IS giving money to parents of older children.
So the RCMP airholed a 48 yr. old dishwasher and Anony badass who brought a knife to a gunfight…things get real when you step out from behind the keyboard…
I sent this directly to chevrons security people
I think changes are warranted
As a former Houstonian I’d advise against pulling any s**t down there. You might have brief regrets.
“What was he going to use to make the firebombs?”
I’m pretty sure the only environmentally conscious method is to light the end of a block of wood and throw it carefully so as not to get splinters.
He was a hard worker with a soft towel
He could wash two racks of dishes in one afternoon , two rinses
Do SJW’s get 72 vegans when they martyr themselves?
I think the RCMP need some more training, they shot only 1 of these a$$holes!!
Enviroemntal extremists like Al Gore,Charles Manson and the Unibomber in fact the Unibomber was inspired by Al Gore becuase the FBI found a well rear well worn copy of Gore eco-malarkey book EARTH IN THE BALANCE when they searched his little shack
Frances … the introduction of facts into a conversation with someone of Old News’ intellect is patently unfair. That being said, how in the hell could you decipher what he/she/it was trying to get across?
My shop is just down the road from the Chevron offices in Houston BC. That explains why the town is crawling with RCMP the last few days. Time to set up my security cameras
