  3. Re: Song, ”Keep it Gay.”
Where does the notion come from that people who perform on Broadway have British accents??
That goes hand in hand with Texans and cowboy hats. (I was in Dallas for 5 days, never saw one cowboy hat.)
French men wearing berets. (I was in Paris for a week, never saw one beret.)
Black kids playing basketball in the driveway. (I once lived in a neighborhood where every third household was black. (Never saw one playing basketball.)

  4. Little mention of the Taiwan Water Park incident on Canadian news — maybe still to emerge. Even where it is being covered, there is no mention that this was a gay pride event intended to celebrate the US court decision on gay marriage. I know that some will say it is not relevant, but I think it is part of the story. I am pretty sure that if the group had been blacks, feminists, boy scouts, gun supporters,ant-abortionists, Reverend Moons, etc. etc. that would have been mentioned because it is part of the story. So I am puzzled about why it is not mentioned in this story that the event was a gay pride event.

Trudeau says a Liberal government would put a price on carbon pollution
“He told media in Vancouver that within 90 days of taking office, his government would map out a plan to reduce the country’s collective carbon footprint. Trudeau says he would invite all of Canada’s premiers to join him at the United Nations Climate Change Conference in Paris at the end of this year.”
Well that, and cancel admission fees to national parks in 2017, to commemorate Canada’s 1505h anniversary. Plus a whole bunch of other cool, top down stuff. Isn’t that sweet. His dad did Expo 67, Justin hands out free park tickets.
    C’mon let’s party.

Not to be outdone, Angry Tom and the Canadian Labour Party feel cities are the key to their vote, err constituency, umm “middle class jobs.” Everyone knows that strangling the shit out of workers and entrepreneurs with crippling taxes, electricity costs and regulations creates lots of “middle class jobs.”

  10. And don’t forget the Palliser Expedition of 1857 – 1860, which found a large area of the Prairies to be hot and dry, that area later dubbed the Palliser Triangle. They didn’t take thermometers along, though, so don’t know just HOW hot it was back then.
However, 120 years – not that long when weather records being considered. I’d like to see the figures for the Prairies from about 1000 years ago.
