Ummm, it seems to me that the Germans used chlorine gas in WWI. Maybe it was just to help plants grow like that evil CO2. The staggering incompetence of Obama is hard to comprehend, he is so stupid it has to be intentional.

Funny but I was just discussing this a couple days ago when there was an incident at a local pulp mill involving H2S gas. I recalled that when as a lad I worked in a mill and we occasionally had a chlorine gas leak – not something you want to experience.
Even in small, low concentration amounts that stuff is very nasty and it caused me to reflect on what it must have been like to see yellow clouds of the stuff moving your way.

Chlorine Gas is very dangerous. It was widely used for disinfecting water systems, both drinking water and cooling water. One of the emergencies we had to plan for was a derailment and breaching of a tanker car carrying chlorine gas on a nearby RR line. Thankfully almost everyone is switching their water treatment to sodium hypochlorite liquid (bulk liquid bleach). Much safer.
2015 is the 100th anniversary of the battle of St. Julien, where chlorine was first used in bulk as a weapon.
I wouldn’t have thought it was possible, but this guy is actually getting stupider.

Mau Mau – now that’s how to deal with terrorists. As many as 20,000 killed and only 2,633 captured. No mention of wounded, probably not many of those. The British used to fight wars like the Russians, to win. Since the Brit soldiers started wearing government issued panties, around the time Harold Wilson was PM, the only war they’ve won was with panty wearing Margaret Thatcher in charge, The Falkland War.

So apparently, according to his “argument,” since chlorine is not itself a “chemical weapon”, then only when it’s deployed in a “that way,” which it was, is there a “problem.”
So voila, no red line crossed. Meme-speak at its finest.
What’s next, well Sarin nerve gas is a binary agent and each agent in itself is not a “chemical weapon” because they’re not “dangerous” until they’re combined. So if they “accidentally combined” … Hey, no big deal; c’mon accidents happen. Saddam Hussein had a similar “accident” years ago and got away with it – therefore no red line crossed.
Apparently they’re “all there” because nobody gives a s**t about Syria and they’re trying to keep nuclear weapons out of Iran’s hands by ensuring they develop them.

As one of the ‘train people’ displaced in the 1979 Mississauga Ontario derailment, I can assure you that chlorine is nasty stuff. When inhaled it mixes with the water in your lungs and becomes hydrochloric acid – something your lungs realllly don’t need.
Also, as others have said before me, its use as a chemical weapon dates back to WW1. I actually thought that Obama was just a really smart liar intent on destroying the United States. Now, I’m not so sure – nobody in his position wants to look that stupid on purpose…
