I didn’t know you had to agree to speak to the NTSB.
And a gay rights activist according to an Ace of Spades commenter although I don’t remember there being a link to a report on that.

Scuttlebutt is the train accelerated from 72 to 107mph in the last 3 seconds.
Three seconds? No way you could get something the mass of a train to accelerate that fast. Three minutes, yes. The track view recorder indicated steady acceleration up to the crash, yes. Either driver error, or driver intention.
Thank god it was only carrying people and it only killed the people on the train.
Could you imagine if it was carrying oil and heaven forbid, spilled some oil!

Drugs. If the engineer wasn’t tested immediately afterwards, we’ll never know, but this sounds a whole lot like drugs.
First thing I thought of: Going to be a trend, taking out innocents while killing one’s self.

Except he survived. Apparently can’t remember anything about the crash, just trying to slow train down.
A chilling thought and I first quickly dismissed this idea as posted on a small right wing conservative website. American based out of California. Got second thoughts now.
If such was the case, any interrogation would have to be carried out with high skill. The last thing that would work would be the old accusatory method coupled with threats. This regarding the engineer.
I remember a case in England many, many years ago with the traitor who betrayed atomic secrets to the Russians. His interviewer was a fatherly man who reminded the traitor that England gave him refuge in 1933 from Hitler’s Germany. Though Jewish he was foolishly he was interned as “a person born in Germany” in 1940. This turned him against the British. A bit of a ramble on my part however…..
The engineer had a life-long “obsession with trains” and is a “vocal gay rights activist”.
If I used mass transit, the guy I’m trusting my well-being to would – preferably – not have personality traits including obsessive behavior and social activism.
All these airline accidents is there a pattern? is this some sort of mass satanic sacrfice by satanists?
