ACLU sues to force catholic charities to provide abortions to illegal alien minors.
Interesting. But pagan seems cool these days.
“Well-to-do parents typically did not interact with their children, leaving them up to the care of slaves. Children were rudely brought up, and very strong beatings were a normal part of education. In Rome, a child’s father had the right to kill him for whatever reason until he came of age.
One of the most notorious ancient practices that Christianity rebelled against was the frequent practice of expositio, basically the abandonment of unwanted infants. (Of course, girls were abandoned much more often than boys, which meant, as the historical sociologist Rodney Stark has pointed out, that Roman society had an extremely lopsided gender ratio, contributing to its violence and permanent tension.)”

Poor Ontario. Perhaps next time they’ll vote for a accountant to run the province.

If Catholics won’t provide abortions, it’s the fault of their religion and they will have to change.
Hillary On Abortion: ‘Deep-Seated Cultural Codes, Religious Beliefs And Structural Biases Have To Be Changed’
NEW YORK — Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton took a feminist tone on Thursday. She told attendees at the sixth annual Women in The World Summit that “deep-seated cultural codes, religious beliefs and structural biases have to be changed” for the sake of giving women access to “reproductive health care and safe childbirth.”
Sorry to be Mr. Corrector but it’s Fred Osborne.

What? The ACLU is opposing civil liberties again?
“Almost 60,000 unaccompanied minors illegally crossed the U.S./Mexico borer last year. Nearly a third were young girls and up to 80 percent of those girls were victims of sexual assault. USCCB was awarded a $73 million overall contract and received $10 million in 2013 alone to care for those unaccompanied minors”
That is strange.. They received 10 million in 2013, that would be before the children entered the USA…..Organization and traveling costs I presume..
Screw the USCCB… if they created the Hordes.. They don’t need Taxpayer Money to pay for their new flock
Good eye, but I believe Armstrong was a deliberate reference back to college students thinking Lance Armstrong walked on the moon.
Oh right. Lance Armstrong and Buzz Lightyear walked on that first trip.
I am sure there is physical equation for that. something about being fast enough and high enough in order for the chute to open. what is wrong with captcha? four times now and still not accepting the correct code.
Here is another example of things always being bigger in the US of A.

Looks like someone copied the playbook, but instead of becoming mayor of Chicago, he focused on a much higher and more lucrative office.

Meh, Fred Osborne was ok, but for a real stuntman ya gotta look at his grandson – Super Dave Osborne.
Rex beautifully summarizes Hillary Clinton:
“At the distance we are from U.S. politics it puts some pressure on the mind to understand this choice of hers. The very daring of it appalls. The head of the State Department took herself off the security systems of the State Department, and conducted the most delicate foreign affairs of the world’s greatest power from the same machine she used to order Chelsea’s bridal veil and map out the less rigorous routines of her daily yoga fits.”
Kinda like McGuinty, he opines:
“Still, the idea that the Office of a Premier should be so violated, that a private citizen should be given a password to access official emails, and carry out their destruction, has something about it of the murk and slipperiness, the shameless and deviousness, that distinguish the artful flamboyance of Clinton Inc. As for substance, well a billion dollars is the conservative estimate of what Ontarians will have to pay for the cancellation fiat. Maybe if that billion were still available there would be no fire sale of Hydro One.”

awe Rex, they’ll just TAX it back!
Unfortunately, there are a lot of communists or socialists who are very good speakers, can really rouse an audience, but fortunately, sensible voters know better than to ever put then in charge of the Province or Country.
At the link, it seems everyone agrees the Dipper Notley won the debate, but if Albertans have any common sense left they’ll NOT vote them into government.
When I lived in small B.C. city about 15 years ago, there was a communist Party professor who ran in every election,Provincial or Federal, and at the debates always wowed the audience with his ability to channel Castro or Lenin, but when election time came, he usually garnered about 400 votes out of a total of 20,000.
If being a great speaker was all it takes to be a great political Leader, all the televangelists from John Hagee to Benny Hinn would be running the Country.
