Thanks Brian, although I think most everyone that frequents this board knows exactly what is going on.
The left’s efforts to take over all our institutions began in the 1950s and has been remarkably successful, particularly in our media and educational facilities. This bypassing of election financing regulations is just the next progression.
The Conservatives raised 20 million, the Liberals raised 15 million, and the NDP raised 9 million in 2014. I wonder how much the Liberal and NDP amounts would go up if dollar figures could be attached to what the various union and George Soros so-called environmental groups spend to unseat the Conservatives?
Our friend Kathy Shaidle wrote prophetically about the prospect that the Obamugabbe regime would interfere in Canada to overthrow the Harper government.
This would involve not just political operatives but also funding (US taxpayer funding)….not just the usual “Tides Canada” foreign funds.
Hopefully that will backfire much like their putsch into Israeli politics.

You all are badly misreading the changes taking place, The new election act takes away the overspending. In the last election the Cons. didn’t bother with the small amounts . they made their point by reporting those liberals
that were over the $300,000. Election s Can. said their investigation showed it was just a clerical error, and they were paying it all back. That meant they got the advantage of overspending, with a n interest free loan from the taxpayers. Under the new election Act any overspending, over a $500 allowed for Clerical errors, the Person or Party will be required to pay back double the amt. overspent. By the time the writ is dropped the Unions and other organized groups will have spent one billion plus.
