Multiple sources within CBC News have revealed to CANADALAND, under condition of anonymity, a shocking campaign Amanda Lang undertook in 2013 to sabotage a major story reported by her colleague, investigative reporter Kathy Tomlinson.
Key details of these events have been confirmed to CANADALAND by Tomlinson’s spouse, Alan Fryer, a former W-FIVE reporter and Washington Bureau chief for CTV News.

This i happens all the time in IT. We laugh at it because we have yet to see the model succeed. Connunication abilities are poor, service is terrible, and the results are crap. Work typically comes back but for some reason management is sold on the foolishness.

According to the broadcast numbers CBC bores 80% of the nation who simply turn it off, it offends or annoys the 15-18% of Canadians who are politically aware with its incessant partisan advocacy and a small 2-5% watch and participate(less than 1.2% share in prime time) – so if numbers count in a democracy or free market demand side dynamics exist, CBC has a product that stinks, is unsuccessful as a broadcaster and should be in the media boneyard – but it is tax subsidized and has no profit demands so it exists for the 2-5% who support it this begs the question who are these 2-5%ers who can demand such a burden on the taxpayer to satisfy their needs?
Well,CBC caters to “liberals” and if you first understand that the so called “liberal” establishment abandoned true liberalism for varying degrees of statist socialism some 6 decades ago it will now make sense to you why liberals no longer engage in debate. In the mind of the neo-lib socialist (a true believer in the authoritarian mega state and global government) there is nothing to debate, their beliefs are true enlightenment and all else is ignorant dissent from lesser creatures. As with all statist socialist progression the primary agendas are not to debate but to protect and promote the fallacious utopian narrative, hide the police state behind nanny state skirts, and to definitively quash dissent and destroy resitive non believers ( kind of like Islamic fascism). So the new breed of statist calling itself “liberal/progressive” is actually a political elite network which promotes the quashing of dissenting opinion and, ultimately, the single party authoritarian state.
Of course the single party state and the concentration of wealth and power it represents, serves the personal agendas of elites and special interests who wish to solidify their position, prestige, wealth and power through a state apparatus which puts political elites at the peak of the power structure – so the elite support single party socialist statism and global socialist statism which has been rebranded as Progressivism/liberalism. Certainly – nothing “liberal” about this political agenda – and the lies covering the iron fist of liberal authoritarian elitist utopianism is obvious – thus the need for social conditioning through mass media (good ‘ol commie propagandizing).
So consider what this rebranded commie cult would do if it infected a vast public broadcasting network with endless subsidy to run it – voila! – the new CBC – socialist narrative and propaganda injected into every detail of programming, 24/7 with no dissenting opinion or inconvenient truths to confuse the true believer. Most Canadians instinctively reject this poorly concealed political evangelizing and tune it out. I hear CBC brass decided to sell off HNinC (their only profitable asset) because it took up too much air time and those watching it were not predisposed to the commie narrative they pedal – so we see TSN ratings soar as Geo. Stumblebumbolus sets about injecting the true believer narrative into what’s left of CBC sport programming.
So, should it surprise us that a corrupt partisan elite and their parasitic camp followers have coopted a public utility (CBC) for their own agendas – which they run openly and in defiance of any attempt to control it by government or market forces – does it surprise us this breeds corruption and snarling defense posturing when questioned?

The Lang/O’Leary exchange was infantile at times. Lang couldn’t handle O’Leary and the whole thing devolved into an episode of the Bickerson’s – or maybe the Honeymooners. Embarrassing.
This latest story wont help Lang’s career. The cbc is embattled and may not have the stomach to defend her. You have to think this is not sitting well with it’s base.
