  1. The West – Wee, sleekit, cow’rin, tim’rous beastie.
Bluster and show. The average North American/European can’t even get worked up about the erosion of his own rights, or the fact that his grade 8 kids won’t know their times table but will be able to recite fifty ways to please their LGBT lovers.
It is dimply ludicrous to think of Mr. average-guy-on-the-street putting up any kind of a physical resistance to anything.

  2. the sad thing is that if we ignore it, it grows and if we address it, it grows. islam is like cancer that is rampant in the body of the people of the olanet.

  3. “islam is like cancer that is rampant in the body of the people of the planet.”
You could say the same thing about yellowness in the western world.

  4. The only politicians that talk about doing something are fascists like LePen and National Front; or people that are painted as fascists just like the National Front by the do-nothing establishment politicians.
The establishment politicians are destroying any chance they have of relatively peacefully resolving this issue.

  5. I had to do a double-take on your post, at first I thought it was NME. Then I remembered that “yellowness” has multiple meanings. My bad.

  6. And this,”Prime Minister Stephen Harper just gave a stirring little speech, post Charlie Hebdo, about how “this means war.”
But since 9/11, he’s doubled the Muslim population of Canada.” Doesn’t help.
Jamie MacMaster @ 6:50, and oldwhiteguy @ 7:09, well said.
It used to be relatively quiet but now resurgent Islam is killing people in multiple places on a daily basis and our leaders pee in their panties. They and the left are slowly selling us into slavery.

  7. I see that in Dresden thousands are marching through the streets against islamimifacation of the country

  8. It has occurred to me that those who ridicule the performance of the French in 1940, have ironically taken the same path….defeatism.
It is not a permanent condition….witness the terror/panic of the retreating Wehrmacht to news of Leclerc’s approaching armour…..

  9. Canadian courts also uphold sharia law. Look what happened to Levant and Stein. There was a bit on Sun news the other day with Ezra about a gu who is doing had time for exercising his free speech rights in a manner that offended muzzies. The court won’t wvwn grant him bail while he awaits his court date.

  10. Time for mourning is done, Candle light vigils with each new Islamic terror atrocity is redundant and a sign of submission. Our leaders submit us to this because they lack the strength to do what is needed to purge this nation of its covert murderous and anti-freedom elements.
In a war of cultures/ideologies a self-sufficient impenetrable fortress is paramount – we need to think of this nation as an island fortress – a last/safe bastion against the savagery of uncivilized ideologies, injustice, pogroms and despotism. We need to openly and in unison declare that our free, egalitarian, just, democratic rule by benefic law nation, is a rare and precious thing in an era of barbarity and global dytopia, that it is worth protecting/defending from enemies within and outside our borders and resolve to do so in the most effective means available.
The best guarantor of a secure nation is a secure border, immigration which puts national security first and indictment systems for incarceration and deportation of all opposed to these founding principles. Islamic radicals are not the only political element eroding or freedom, security and way of life. ALL threats to freedom domestically must be vigorously dealt with.
We must realize that not always do our leaders represent the nation’s best interests in regard to preserving our freedom and the inherent justice of rule of law. WE as a people must resolve to represent these values,
Until this is understood an undertaken by a majority in an efficient and effective manner, everything else is hollow rhetoric which submits us to our enemy’s will.
We need understanding of our duty to defend our freedom and some national and cultural self respect back in our leaders and ourselves before we can take on the barbarian hordes that despise our freedom.

  11. correction – there was a bit in Sun News the other day with Ezra about a guy who is doing –
Never buy an ASUS lap top, this computer has the worst keyboard on the planet.

  12. Kathy’s right. We live in a culture that celebrates moral posturing and preening, even above the lives of its citizens.
In all the talk of the Muslim problem (I denounce myself), the cost of Muslim immigration is rarely given it due, and usually denied. Its alleged benefit is difficult to see. What’s the upside supposed to be? “More pavilions at Folkfest”, as our hostess puts it? Kebab stands? What?
There is a benefit, but you must look elsewhere to find it. It’s the benefit that flows to the moral posers who now run everything, including our police forces and our military (For God’s sake, get out student policemen and soldiers OUT of our universities!), who’ve been taught in their schools and universities that the height of moral rectitude is to abjure any moral judgement of anyone with even the weakest, tortured claim to having been “marginalized” (read, “anyone who has less stuff that someone else because some bad guy took it all away”). Hence, the postmodern spectacle of moral one-upmanship, wherein contestants compete to see who is the most marginalized, the most worthy. That leaves privileged (read “accomplished”) white men and their whores as the only group that may be judged, and who must be condemned for not being one of “us”. The self-satisfaction of this pose is its own reward.
So the benefit is the improved self-esteem of the moral and intellectual children among us. We therefore adopt policies that make them feel good about themselves: open borders; multiculturalism; equal respect for all; moral and epistemological relativism. It’s so intellectually lazy that even the dumbest among us can do it.
What about the cost? Where is it reckoned? Nowhere in this silly, unserious culture is the cost taken seriously. How many of us remember the names of the dead—the children murdered in Beslan, the dead and maimed at Fort Hood and in New York, Boston, Madrid and London, Bombay and Paris. Instead, the names and photos of the murderers are splashed across our papers and TVs, even glorified on the cover of Rolling Stone.
What does this tell us? That according to the prevailing moral code of the West, the dead and the maimed are just the cost we, or rather, they, must bear in order to salve the conscience of the morally infantile fantasists we have bred. Sure, a few dead might get them out to the odd candlelight vigil, but not for the sake of the dead. As we saw, they demonstrate for themselves. It’s an opportunity to preen that they could not resist. Anyway, what’s a few dead when our self-esteem is at stake? And, what’s morality for, anyway? The dead white males taught us that morality was to protect individual persons so that all could flourish, so we know that must be wrong. Morality’s work is to promote our self-satisfaction. If that costs a few lives—actual lives, of actual people—well, too bad: what’s a few lives when the feelings of all the best people are in the balance.
That’s their moral calculus. That’s what explains how France, Holland, Germany, the Scandinavian countries, and Britain could have allowed themselves to be colonized by a culture intent on destroying them. It explains why Canada, the US and Australia are following suit. It explains why several generations of our progeny have no moral foundation from which to justify the outrage they ought to feel over what has become of Western civilization. It’s a mark of just how successful the enemies of the modern West have been. All sacrificed on the altar of the fiction of equality.
12 more dead in Paris wont change a thing. (Well, it might get us some blasphemy laws.) The self-indulgent nature of a Weltanschauung that places each of them at the center of the universe is just too seductive for the children to resist. The cultural Marxists are ingenious. They understood that the way to the Marxist utopia was to infantilize persons. They fashioned a culture of infants in need of a nursemaid state.
Apparently, the Muzzies have other plans for those infants.

  13. There is a wonderful antidote, and it costs absolutely nothing, for lousy keyboard/arthritic fingers syndrome minuteman, oldwhiteguy, denis (and Spurwing for that matter)…. it’s called the Preview button. :D)

  14. Nick said: “That according to the prevailing moral code of the West, the dead and the maimed are just the cost we, or rather, they, must bear in order to salve the conscience of the morally infantile fantasists we have bred”
Very articulate and lucid assessment of the degeneration of cultural values by the moral preeners in the legion of politically correct social destabilizing and steer us toward self destructive value systems. But these are the 15% true believers who have had a media-academic lobotomy – above them are the 2% political/media/academic Fabian socialist engineers who use PC to mobilize the true believer hordes in undermining democracy and citizen-based control of the policy making process with party system opportunism/self interest.
The vast majority of Canadians do not buy into the whole dystopian PC global village moral preening socialist PC agenda (enunciated by the moral posing of PC)they know this is wrong and destructive to the nation – but they pay lip service to it to keep a job or fit in socially but alone they think independently and deeply resent the oppression of free thought/speech/independence PC represents – they keep this seething resentment to themselves in quiet repression, they do not vote because they see no relief in a coopted party political system where all representation is just a varying degree of the same old PC self destructiveness – so because they are a silent self disenfranchised majority, political party opportunists appease the PC noise makers as it perceives this to be the majority.
Social engineers have run amuck in public policy because of the lack of vocal and effective opposition – most of which has been intimidated by uncivil PC oppression and PC media slander – and it has resulted in a leadership which formulates policy based on PC dogma rather than traditional liberal democratic values or rule of law deferential to individual rights – we have become a dystopian fragmentized culture which is easy prey for the base predatory nature of our enemies.
If this silent majority had a focal point and a leader or movement they feel offered hope for reviving staid and true National values, giving their needs and concerns a voice, if they saw that they really represent a majority, if it instilled some self respect and courage in them to defend their freedom, things would change quickly. The greatest weapon the enemies of freedom have is the big lie that resistance is futile. Statist socialism, PC, terrorists and other predatory despotic elements FEAR dissent, they FEAR a mass awakening and empowerment movement – just ask Geert Wilders or Nigel Farage.
Until that turning point (strength in leadership) arrives we will continue to be preyed upon by terrorists and moral posers alike.

  15. Well said nick and Occam.
I’m very pessimistic about any change for the good coming anytime soon. Charlie Hebdo is putting out a new magazine this week. The cover has a picture of a tearful Mo with “Je suis Charlie” sign.
I perceive the general reaction to this is that they are poking the bear again and they haven’t learned their lesson. A lot less people will be sporting ‘Je suis’ signs next time. Apparently most would prefer to tip-toe around an angry bear rather than confront the bear in the room.
The Toronto 18 had planned to blow up the CBC building. Did that wake them up?
No, they shrugged off the planned killings of their own employees and stayed on the politically correct course.
The jihadists are Islam’s army, supported by the most of Islam. They are not lone wolves.
We have our own army supported by most Canadians. They also are not lone wolves.
I fear that thing will get a lot worse before they start getting better. That angry bear must be neutered not appeased.

  16. I like ‘olanet’ better. It gave the post a more poignant feel! A fitting sarcasm of how liberals spin bad news into touchy feely warmness.

  17. We will know soon enough. I don’t think Islam is taking a nap anytime soon. Let’s see if the gutless ba*tards down south ask for solidarity when they get their empty nut sacks slapped next time.

  18. Kathy Shaidle is our generation’s Cassandra. She speaks nothing but the truth, accurately predicts the future… and nobody listens. Tears may yet fall from that lack of listening.
Yes, the unwashed masses are taking selfies at the WTC memorial. Because they didn’t -lose- anything that day. And it was a “long time ago”. They take selfies at the Vietnam memorial too. Other people lost friends. Other people got hurt, killed. Not them. They’re ok. They’re having a fun outing.
When the selfies will stop is when EVERYBODY lost something. It takes a huge, massive famine for the selfies to stop.
Personally, I’m just as glad stupid heedless kids are still able to be stupid and heedless in perfect safety. It means we’re winning. Or perhaps more ominously, we haven’t started losing yet.
    Time will tell.
