Just want to point out, though, that the quoted passage in your comment isn’t Rex’s, it was made by the feminist activists who said they wanted to “raise awareness …that toymakers and sellers play a part in the fact that not a single little girl asks Father Christmas for a sword.”

Oh how I have come to LOATHE the expression “raise awareness”. I mean who do you think you are that you would presume to dictate to me what I ought to be aware of, or that my awareness of a particular issue is somehow not high enough to suit you?
Raise awareness. A socialist propaganda term meaning to indoctrinate and misinform in order to shape public opinion into accepting something that was unacceptable only a short while ago. To normalize intolerable, disgusting behaviour.

To extend your comments: The goal of communism is to overthrow capitalism and Christianity. The backbone of Christian morality is sexual restraint. Just after WW1, Cultural Marxists at the Frankfurt University, guided primarily by the ideas of Herbert Marcuse, rejected the idea of a Worker’s Revolution because the working class was only interested in their economic well-being and would not co-operate in the overthrow of Christianity. What Marcuse proposed to do was to instigate a sexual revolution by exploiting the grievances of four main groups who were judged to be easily led: blacks, students, feminists, and homosexuals.
Marcuse was right. We haven’t reached the tipping point yet but we’re close. Too damn close.
