  1. Dim Wit Prentice is boastfully handing out copies of a book called “Team of Rivals”. It’s a book about that Yankee named Lincoln and how he conned some of his political rivals to join up with his side. You know, just like “old beady eyed Toronto lawyer Prentice” just did! Yup, Old Jim certainly enjoys congratulating himself. But he may be too smart by half.
The big question is, doesn’t Old Jim not know how Lincoln started an exceptionally bloody and murderous civil war that resulted in 700 hundred thousand dead people? Then there is the matter of how Lincoln’s political career came to a sudden and nasty halt!
I believe we can assume that Old Jim didn’t put enough though into this self-congratulatory stunt. Like I said, “too smart by half”.

  2. What passes for ‘justice’ in Canada:
A home invasion in southwestern New Brunswick ended up with one person shot and four people facing charges.
The St. Stephen RCMP were called to a house in Honeydale after the homeowner was assaulted.
The police say the alleged assailant was shot in the leg and a vehicle was also shot in the incident.

A 68-year-old man was been charged with discharging a firearm with intent and discharging a firearm in a reckless manner. He will be back in court on Feb. 3.
A 17-year-old boy was charged with robbery and assault with a weapon. He will be back in court on Dec. 23 for a bail hearing.
A 19-year-old man has been charged with robbery and breaching a probation order. He will appear in court on Feb. 3.
As well, a 19-year-old woman was arrested for robbery on Dec. 22, in connection to the home invasion incident.

Defend yourself and you will be charged, and cops wonder why they don’t get respect.

  3. Another fraud perpetuated by the climate change scientists activists. “Don’t question our motives”
    http://wattsupwiththat.com/2014/12/23/touchy-feely-science-one-chart-suggests-theres-a-phraud-in-omitting-ocean-acidification-data-in-congressional-testimony/
Mike Wallace is a hydrologist with nearly 30 years’ experience, who is now working on his Ph.D. in nanogeosciences at the University of New Mexico. In the course of his studies, he uncovered a startling data omission that he told me: “eclipses even the so-called climategate event.” Feely’s work is based on computer models that don’t line up with real-world data—which Feely acknowledged in email communications with Wallace (which I have read). And, as Wallace determined, there is real world data. Feely, and his coauthor Dr. Christopher L. Sabine, PMEL Director, omitted 80 years of data, which incorporate more than 2 million records of ocean pH levels.

Wallace sent Bard an email: “I’m looking in fact for the source references for the red curve in their plot which was labeled ‘Historical & Projected pH & Dissolved Co2.’ This plot is at the top of the second page. It covers the period of my interest.” Bard responded and suggested that Wallace communicate with Feely and Sabine—which he did over a period of several months. Wallace asked again for the “time series data (NOT MODELING) of ocean pH for 20th century.” Sabine responded by saying that it was inappropriate for Wallace to question their “motives or quality of our science,” adding that if he continued in this manner, “you will not last long in your career.” He then included a few links to websites that Wallace, after spending hours reviewing them, called “blind alleys.” Sabine concludes the email with: “I hope you will refrain from contacting me again.” But communications did continue for several more exchanges.

  4. There is going to be backlash: a lot of Wildrose supporters are steamed that their representatives have joined the “big tent” and are no longer holding the PC’s accountable at a time when it is more necessary than ever. On the other side, PC’s are stunned that their anointed rep is a Wildrose member for whom they did NOT vote. Glad to see Heather Forsythe has taken on the interim leadership role: have respected her and her work for some time.

  5. Ocean ‘acidification’ is a hoax.
The pH scale is logarithmic and as a result, each whole pH value below 7 [pH neutral] is ten times more acidic than the next higher value. For example, pH 4 is ten times more acidic than pH 5 and 100 times (10 times 10) more acidic than pH 6. The same holds true for pH values above 7, each of which is ten times more alkaline (another way to say basic) than the next lower whole value.
Seawater pH is limited to the range 7.5 to 8.4. Seawater is basic not acidic. A 30% change in pH of seawater, ie. 0.33 pH, is well within the natural range of variation, and no cause for alarm.

  6. That science that is not science is practiced by sloppy fools. They must have been sure that no one would want to see their original data, so much for peer review.
“is it acceptable to omit the majority of the data and also to not disclose the omission to any other soul or Congressional body”
Testimony before Congress is under oath. “That is the truth & the whole truth” Those clowns are in for a real bad year and the EPA will be jerked up to answer truthfully to Congress. The AGW fraud will unwind like a rotten cabbage.

  7. “By farting louder the man is using passive aggressive violence to position himself as dominant, this intimidates the woman to subconsciously not release as much flatulence and thus the woman fearing for her safety doesn’t fart as loud as a sign of submissiveness, this in turn contributes to rape culture and women being oppressed.”
At first I thought it was a parody, but it comes from UofT, and appears to be a ‘serious’ discussion in wimminz studies. They probably even give degrees for this sh!t. With people like this controlling Toronna, it’s no small wonder that Ontarri-oh is a lieberal ghetto.
It’s time for the west to separate; cut ’em loose at Thunder Bay.

  8. is that anything like ‘mansbridging’? Apparently it’s popular at CBC, where it’s called “Ghomeshi Lite”

  9. ” At least 60 journalists killed in 2014 ”
An Associated Press story in the Toronto Star.
    http://www.thestar.com/news/world/2014/12/23/at_least_60_journalists_killed_in_2014.html
Phony journalists reporting on the deaths of real journalists.
You would think that the AP would have the parts to tell the truth about the murders of their own, but then you would be wrong.
They skirt over the indisputable fact that most journalists are murdered by the hand of allah’s adherents.
    ISIS is mentioned briefly.
If they will shade the truth about the murder of their own, what would stop them from lying about anything else ?
Absolutely nothing, except maybe losing their pulpit and/or paycheque.

  10. The pompous man-child thinks he helped Sony! What a moron! The NK/China hacking was between them and JAPAN.. Sony is a 100% Japan Hallmark. Obama is a joke.
Sony America are the store front version of unworthy janitors and if they have displeased/damaged SONY they will all be gone
Sony’s decision to release ‘Interview’ is no tidy solution.

  11. A 68-year-old man has been charged with discharging a firearm with intent,
discharging a firearm in a reckless manner. He will be back in court on Feb. 3.

I don’t know much about Canadian courts, ? Jury trial or Judges trial ?
but if I sat on that old mans jury,
no way in hell would he ever be convicted..

  13. Beautiful kcdist! Love this kind of story.
I’m guessing you were one of the ‘hand-on’ people.

  14. Aw, shucks.
Yea, Carmen cleans my house a few times a week….I found her three days after the hurricane with half a bottle of water for her and her granddaughter. A few of us got together, and the video is the result.
My second only attempt at a YouTube video. My kids challenged me to get over 1000 views….ergo my shameless plug.

  15. Hey, as they say this time of the year,”Have a merry Christmas”, those that care.
Those that don’t, enjoy your time off.

  16. Good for you and the others. Love is a major part of the Christmas celebration.
Have a Merry Christmas and a happy New Year to all who visit here.

  17. The latest poll: We’re not sure, it depends on how you measure it, whether Justin Trudeau or Thomas Mulcair will come in second to Stephen Harper:

OK the Economist got it wrong in 2014, but that doesn’t mean the climate models are wrong:

    Merry Christmas everyone!!

  18. Obomber has a track record of lying about movies to cover his arse; so why believe this FBI story of the Norks being enraged over a film? Even the hackers said it wasn’t the Norks; and the hackers were originally interested in extortion.
