Nothing says “we are righteous and entitled to deference” like smashing and looting a local woman’s cake shop. And smashing and looting the mini-market that Michael Brown robbed and then running away laughing, and looting the local phone shop, and burning down the local pharmacy, and burning down the local auto spares business, and the local pizza restaurant, and the local beauticians, and then shooting at the firemen who are trying to put those fires out before other people lose their livelihoods too.
You know, for “social justice.”

  1. With the number of businesses that have been permanently shuttered (fire sales galore), we can expect Ferguson to become a footmark of history on the same scale as Detroit. Too bad the rabble rousers, looters, and parasites will move onto other hosts and start performing the same antics when one of their own is cut down while performing more criminal acts.
Someday this will end. Either when there’s nothing left to loot, or an iron fist pulps the mob.

  2. Should have waited till Thursday to release court decision.
Thursday night before Black Friday Sales,
all these bastards would be standing in line down at Wal-Mart waiting to buy a new wide screen TV.

  3. Noticed a correlation between the places reporting “protests” and the districts retained by democrats after the midterms.
By the way CNN reporting how their reporters bravely withstood the clouds of tear gas during the riots….somehow missing the obvious.

  4. Especially since the clouds were not tear gas, as the CBC stringer so quickly jumped on and panicked. Police were using smoke canisters … All that happened last night was that every ugly stereotype about the black community got validated, once again.

  5. “Burn baby Burn” – the good news is that they’re burning down Liberal gun free zones.
Things will go allot different for them if they cross over into the white conservative patriotic America communities.
Of course I don’t see Nancy Pelosi’s house on fire yet, someone should draw them a roadmap or make a rap song with directions.
It’s a good thing they brought in millions of illigal Mexicans to rebuild and move into those communities once they’ve been clensed.

  6. Unbridled weapons-grade stupid – witness a community commit cultural and economic suicide. Just who would risk opening a small retail business in this shitehole now? We are witnessing what happens to those who risk doing business with the hooded hordes.
These small businesses will not be replaced by community enterprisers – so where you gonna get a taco now dumbshite? I sit in awe at the savage stupidity of this inner city kulcher.

  7. The saddest part for the protesters: the “racist” whites they hate the most are the ones laughing the loudest, enjoying every minute.
And the stupid looting has actually become some form of social justice and will be validated by the usual crowd of white liberals.

  8. The “progressives” have spent 50 years cultivating their very own Palestinians in America.
Good job, ya’ll; ya reap what ya sow.

  9. “And the stupid looting has actually become some form of social justice and will be validated by the usual crowd of white liberals.”
As the one Youtube video from Portland, Oregon, put up by one of the commenters to David’s thread indicates, many of these white “liberals” are nothing more than progressive “liberal” anarchists bred by Marxist professors in our universities today with people like van Jones, Saul Alinsky, et al, hoping to lead them someday in a revolution. These people gravitate to trouble areas to egg on the local useful idiots.
The same anarchist mindset with financial aid from radical leftist “funds” is behind the Burnaby hill, Line 9, Occupy and other similar camp out protests.

“….the “racist” whites they hate the most are the ones laughing the loudest”
Not just racist whites as most of those are simply Liberal whites, but Liberal hating whites like myself see this as a beer & popcorn moment as well.
This is the culmination of Liberal white guilt breeding racisms such as Affirmative Action, ghetto culture, and welfare entitlement.
Ferguson is the FAILURE of Liberalism, and it’s entertaining as hell to watch! Especially since it helps wake up the lazy Conservative majorities from their armchair ESPN lifestyles.

  11. I love the response for the ignernt lower echelon of our socially engineered egalitarian society that had me LOLing:
    “Ni**as always gonna nig…!”
    Nig on, Ferguson! Nig ON!!!

  12. Blacks will use extreme violence until we stop fearing them for being violent and until we stop saying they are more violent than white people.
where have we seen this messed up logic before?….oh yeah, now I remember…Violent muslims who were rioting and even killing innocents until we would stop saying Muslims are violent.
Blacks in Fergusson have shown the whole world they are not like white people.
when was the last time white people did such things as setting a whole town on fire because they did not like a court decision?
    Never?
If all races are equal why is it always non-whites who commit over 90% of all the violence???
Look at Fergusson and tell me diversity is our greatest strength.

  13. Canadian Friend >
Recommend that you use “quotations” when expressing others views as with your top sentence.
“when was the last time white people did such things as setting a whole town on fire because they did not like a court decision?” – Canadian Friend
Not to nitpick too much but yes, whites have historically burned down whole towns and even governments when faced with tyranny.
The difference here is context and the misperception of tyranny fuelled by political pandering and race baiting.
None of these blacks are truly repressed living in the USA, in fact they have opportunities and taxpayer assistance that white children are not afforded in the western world. Black Americans enjoy a favored citizenship, giving them access to education, jobs, and other opportunity’s regardless of their intelligence or skills that white people of similar backgrounds are excluded from.
And then they burn it all down.

  14. Perhaps all the white police officers should be transferred out of the black neighbourhoods.
And the community organizers can police them.

  15. In all fairness, the Vancouver 2011 Liberal Left Anarchists don’t count.
You will see those same spoilt white middle class pot heads in the upcoming “extended riots” around the country as Ferguson burns. Their call – “Burning down the city for my repressed Black Friends that don’t know or even like me”.
There were also alot of Asian/ South Asian agitators in the Vancouver riots as well that the MSM deliberately kept off camera as much as possible. Plenty of personal Utube vids prove that (If they’re still allowed to be up).

  16. Don’t we ALL remember how white people rioted and burned down businesses and cars after the OJ verdict came in …nah, me neither.

  17. Can anyone give me an example of a peaceful, economically successful, free, country, city, or town, run by blacks, anywhere in the world?
    I denounce myself, but still…

  18. Montreal/Calgary Hockey Riots come to mind Davers6, as for the people attending the demonstrations; blacks; whites; media; (excluding the local business owners and the first responders) the attendees ——“all have a ticket to ride”.

  19. Find this to be entirely, without a thought of it to be otherwise, the welfare state.
It is a fleeting thought to some to burn down and destroy that is not theirs with the knowledge that nothing will happen to them, in fact the shakedown artists and those that need the poor to remain poor, will do their best to justify it.
One begins to wonder why the black population insists on being African American.
Could it be to justify the behaviour, poverty, be close to their African roots?
It is not inconceivable that many of those African Americans that burned down buildings in Ferguson could not find Africa on the map if their life depended on it.
Why is there absence of initiative singularly to do better today than done yesterday and do better tomorrow than today?
Why is there no desire to know? Why is there no curiosity about things why they are the way they are?
Could it be welfare, free money, free big screen, free this or the other thing?
    Why?

  20. Tsk, tsk. Jamie, jamie. You must go to Hell for that. Go straight to Hell – do not pass “go” – do not collect $200!

  21. You will have noticed in Obama’s speech last night that he couldn’t resist jumping on the tired old horse of blame the whites, claiming that we still have a long way to go with race relations, and so on and so on.
    Obama == racist
    Holder == racist
    These are dangerous people.
They are *no* different than Mugabe, who 30 years on is still blaming the whites.
Also, law and order is a white man’s invention, didn’t you know? It is racist.

  22. You need to hone your comprehension skills. Read Canadian Friend’s comment again and then give us a logical answer. I’ll save you the time. The answer is: Not in recent history.
Riots by idiot hockey fans or fans of any sport, encited by hooligans, don’t count.

  23. If the grand jury had indicted officer Wilson, there would have been “riots of celebration.”
Then if there was a conviction, there would be more “riots of celebration.” Then after the sentencing there would be more riots, “either celebration or protest” If there was an acquittal there would be more riots of protest. So this one riot may preclude up to three others and this whole affair will be over much sooner with less damage, injury and possible loss of life.
With the number of people who came to protest, there was no way possible for it to have ended without serious civil disobedience/ rioting.

  24. BC >
Well put, you can’t even elect these blacks to the highest offices and appease them.
On the otherhand Obola has done everything in his power to harm the “poor blacks” of America, starting with open borders, but we can go down a loooong list.

  25. I’m very disappointed by some of the comments at the link suggesting the small business owners should have moved their inventory and that some of the business owners probably just wanted to collect the insurance money.
People who live in their mommy’s basement, with no life experience should stfu some times.
I feel very sorry for the poor bastards, like the hairdresser and the woman who owns the cake shop, who are trying to make a decent life for themselves and their families, and who have their dreams wiped out by a bunch of thuggish looters in the name of social justice.
I expect Al Sharpton will announce any minute that he is initiating a campaign to collect funds to help the real victims of this debacle get their lives back in order.
And as said above, no small business owner in their right mind would ever set up shop in this Ferguson shi*hole again.

  26. SEASONS GREETINGS
    From downtown Ferguson.
Did you notice the illuminated banner during the riot coverage?

  27. There are decent black people (ie- Natalie DuBose) who are sadly engulfed by the wretched, vulgar and clinically stupid criminal masses who are now burning the last remaining economic lifelines left in Ferguson (all over some stupid thug-kid, too).
I hope these SOBs freeze over Christmas. I really do.

  28. This morning on CTV I saw a Brown family spokesman passing judgement on the released grand jury transcripts, which I’m sure he’s completely read (sarc). His complaint, aside from the “sarcasm that leaped off the pages,” is the prosecutor didn’t present indictable evidence (perhaps there wasn’t any but no matter). He doesn’t say what evidence was missed or improperly presented and then states that the police officer “indicted himself” with his testimony, again without a scintilla of evidence. Pure emotion, basically a controlled temper tantrum.
The most ironic thing is the black lynch mob mentality; I thought they were against that kind prejudice, having suffered from it. Oh right I forgot, they’re “progressives,” as Jonah Goldberg describes succinctly:
“As I’ve written many times before, the story of the progressive movement can best be understood as activists going wherever the field is open. If the people are on your side, expand democracy. If the people are against you, use the courts. If the courts are against you, run down the field with the bureaucrats, or the Congress, or the presidency. Procedural niceties — the filibuster, precedent, the law, custom, the Constitution, truth — only matter if they can be enlisted to advance the cause. If they can’t, they suddenly become outdated, irrelevant, vestigial organs of racism, elitism, sexism, whatever. Obstruction, or even inconvenience in the path of progressive ends is prima facie proof of illegitimacy. The river of history must carry forward. If History hits a rock, the rock must be swept up with the current or be circumvented. Nothing can hold back the Hegelian tide, no one may Stand Athwart History. If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem. This is the liberal gleichschaltung; get with the program or be flattened by it.”
I guess that includes rioting and looting.
No doubt they’ll be proceeding with the civil rights trial. The policeman should sue for defamation.
I agree blacks in the US are being treated like second-class citizens, by their leadership, keeping them in poverty and dependence while they make grand speeches and earn a nice living for themselves. Keeping blacks in immersed in victimology is good for their business.
What unethical creeps; providing specious justification for the surely resultant violence, property damage and overall thug behaviour, to further their careers.

  29. Don Morris said: “I’m very disappointed by some of the comments at the link suggesting the small business owners should have moved their inventory and that some of the business owners probably just wanted to collect the insurance money.”
Don, in all seriousness, any small business in that area that still has any inventory in it IS trying to collect insurance money. There was never any chance that this riot was going to be avoided, never any chance that the cops were going to keep those businesses from getting torched.
The really awesome part of all this is that Ferguson isn’t being burnt down by the people who live in it. For the most part its being burnt down by out-of-towners who will leave when the fun is over. Just like Caledonia Ontario.
If the police were interested in keeping things intact there would have been a curfew and checkpoints. No curfew was ever discussed, no checkpoints ever erected. The businessmen in the downtown shopping area were cut loose months ago and left to burn, and everybody knows it. President Obama himself said it was “understandable”.
And if I’m not mistaken, they’re mostly if not all Black. Social justice, gotta break them eggs to make that omelet.
Oh and by the way: anybody notice Ebola is off the front page completely? So are the illegal immigrants and the border and the drug resistant TB and the bubonic plague and the chagas disease and all the rest of it?
    Propaganda works! Squirrel!

  30. On the bright side, both home and commercial real estate in Ferguson are now very reasonably priced.

  31. The biggest news coming out of this thread is that a David Thompson post, finally, has gotten a decent number of comments.
I have no idea, of course, but I’m guessing that there is an emergent strategy for Kate, among others, to “go global”, which I totally support.
I am not in a position to evaluate intelligently the position of African-America, but I can report that there was an exceedingly clear expectation, on my street, well beyond any reasonable doubt, that Darren Wilson would be exonerated. And that was two weeks ago.
I have no position on the matter — other than to turn my back on it all. People are tired of it all, really. Can we please just get on with it?

  32. Yes. That in itself was enough to provoke a riot (or should be).
It’s Christmas. Don’t like it? Too f!!!ng bad.

  33. So where’s my g’d damned riot tonight?!
I bought beer and pretzels to settle in for a little entertainment this evening and the stupid SOB’s got bored with it already.
    They owes me, BIG TIME!

Notice the context? Some people think context is important. Like when you kill someone.
Is it murder or is it self defense?
Take for example the Daryl Wilson/Michael Brown shooting.
A Grand Jury examined the CONTEXT of the killing and ruled it was justified, self defense.
You`re like the people burning and rioting. They don`t care about the context, they just want to make a point about skin color.
