The answer here is to counter protest. That wonderful event they had set up regarding “intersectionality of resistance movements” would be a prime target. Walk in with 4 or 5 conservatives who refuse to leave and chant “capitalism is the best!” or some such would be a treat.
The problem is we all have jobs, responsibilities and lives to live. Still, if one of these things shows up in the southwestern Ontario area I would volunteer.

I did a bit of online research about WW2 Iraq/Syria….it seems my hazy knowledge was a result/legacy of Allied suppression of those events. It was fascinating how those events resemble current situations…but were promptly resolved by a much different mindset.
Back during WW2, when the Allies had a problem in Syria, they swiftly crushed it with minimum forces…..capturing about 37,000 Vichy….using some Palmach (proto-Israelis) which the contempory accounts referred to as “Jewish Palestinians”….
