  1. Hopefully this doesn’t lead to a Chow victory. As for Rob Ford I sure hope that tumour is benign. I was so looking forward to the heads exploding when he won again.

  2. @James – my sentiments exactly about the exploding heads! So far, John Tory has a huge lead over Chow but Doug Ford is attempting to enter the race as a spoiler – at least. He might keep some votes away from Chow as Rob was doing. However, last I heard, Doug had been rejected as a candidate because his registration papers are way too late. We’ll see what happens.

  3. Sorry to hear about RF’s health issues,I do hope the voters of Toronto have more sense than to rally around Olivia “the perpetual trough Hog” Chow.

  4. CBC (spit) had just reported Doug Ford will run for Mayor and Rob Ford will run for council
in Etobicoke. Just this one time I wish I lived in Toronto so I could vote for both of them.

  5. One can only wonder if Tory can maintain his losing record. Come on man, you got it in you, you can lose, you know it. Endorse Chow and be done with it.

  6. This is an honest question as I’m not from Toronto and clearly am missing something:
Why would someone who intended to vote for Rob Ford now change their vote to Olivia Chow? Wouldn’t it be more logical to hold your nose and vote for Tory, or just not vote at all?

  7. ‘Spects the anti-Ford folks will spin this in conspiratorial terms – herd from one t’day.
Am wondering if DoFo can pick up the numbers better as RoFo has hit a ceiling baring a severe blunder by Tory. This way u can vote for Ford without having to vote for Ford. Diabolical, only the masterly RoFo is capable of such elevated 3D chess like this….gots ta hand it to him – one for the text books.
And yeah, why would any Ford supporter throw his vote to Chow – seriously…..

  8. Please Kate I will pay you not to put up any more rob ford shit…..sick of it..it does not belong in western Canada.

  9. “This way you can vote for Ford without having to vote for Ford.”
My first thoughts exactly. They have the same approach to governance that got Rob Ford elected, but Doug doesn’t have the baggage. It could get interesting.

  10. I care so little about Trawna that I wish there was some way it could get Ford, Chow and Tory all at the same time.

  11. This is a Municipal election, whoever the residents of Toronto vote for will be for them to live with, won’t matter one speck to anyone outside that city. From the outside, Tory isn’t the brightest politician, has a history of losing but appears to be their only choice, Chow is a bone fide twit of the first order, the voters should give her a strong message to get the hell out of politics at all levels.
Rob Ford got the Leftist/Socialist magpies stark raving mad,he’s rough around the edges, too friendly with the little people and some on the darker side of life, the media couldn’t leave him alone, created the biggest political sideshow in the history of that city, hell maybe even the country…..so who’s really to blame?
Good luck to Rob Ford who may be fighting for his life. For those who hounded him mercilessly go forth like hypocrites wishing him well then STFU.

  12. I always love going to TOwe. Ballgames, good food and beer and the nifty folks and RobFord..is there still a hockey team there?
