I dunno about you but I figure John McCain’s attitude is much like mine.
There is little pleasure to be had in a battle of wits…with an unarmed man.
Political theater, something like WWF wrestling without the steroids and workouts.
John McCain was every bit FOR Obamba’s “Arab Spring” and pushed for the arming of the poor little “Ewoks” aka ISIS rebel forces in Syria to overthrow another “regime”.
A regime not unlike Gadhafi’s which held off the Islamic forces from butchering everyone and everything in their way.
Coke – or – Pepsi, this is nothing more than self interested pandering on CNN’s government sponsored political stage.
Every time somebody says “agree to disagree”, they ought to be soundly punched. Preferably in the jaw.
To me the astounding thing is that a CNN host ALLOWED a Republican to press a point against a Democrat. Two years ago, McCain’s mic would have been muted while Carney spewed the party line.
John McCain is absolutely dead to rights about the “Obama-Nation(tm)” leaving Iraq without a standing force agreement; like the US had in post WWII Germany, post Korea, etc. Which proves how prescient George Bush was back in 2007; countering the leave too soon rhetoric…

“Manhandled” is a word that could only be employed through an extreme political bias. It was basically a pointless conversation between a guy who said nothing and a bitter old man, at least outside of the rose coloured glasses Kate wears.
Is Assad worse than the options? Apparently not. As long as Middle East dictators aren’t supporting our enemies, leaving them alone isn’t such a bad idea. Assad wasn’t a big problem, however nuking Saudi Arabia might bring peace.
Too right, Knight 99. McCain is a warmonger who happens to be right, this time, but it’s only to clean up the mess he had a hand in creating.
A ranking member of the Senate Armed Services Committee McCain was front-and-center urging Hosni Mubarak to step down and said the U.S. should push for democratic reforms in the region, despite the risks of religious extremists gaining power.
McCain was especially vocal in support of the 2011 military intervention in Libya.
In April 2011 he visited the Anti-Gaddafi forces and National Transitional Council in Benghazi, the highest-ranking American to do so, and said that the rebel forces were -“my heroes”-.
Later that year McCain gained attention for defending State Department aide to Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin, against charges brought by House Republicans that Abedin had ties to the Muslim Brotherhood.
Where is Arizona’s border fence, John McCain? You campaigned specifically on building it in 2010 and your efforts to get it done are nowhere to be seen. Don’t you think that IS would be less of a threat to your constituency in Arizona if that fence was built, Senator?

It’s good to see Carney getting exposed for his dirty work as Obama’s Spokes Liar, but Pot calling the Kettle black is how I see that McCain interview with Carney.
I enjoy it when Sen. McCain doesn’t “reach across the aisle” and show his mostly true RINO bonafides …
He should stay over here more often while some people still recall what he’s been through.

By rights McCain should be put on trial with Obamba and all his crony’s.
John McCain is still very much alive, contrary to pervasive gossip generated during the run-up to the 2008 election that he’d likely die of old age while in the Oval office, leaving the then Vice-Presidential candidate to become America’s first female President.
No, when a bullshit artist who’s just making stuff up is bludgeoned on national TV by someone armed with facts, he’s been “manhandled.”
Of course McCain can beat Carney with stupidity. McCain has had many more years of practice. I have ZERO respect for liberals even those like McCain who hide in the conservative camp.
This is something of a freak show, and of McCain it an be said that even a broken clock is correct twice a day. His ardent support of the welfare state will ultimately leave his beloved Navy utterly broke and useless. He is a stupid and vain man. You do not wind up 11th from the bottom of your class, as McCain did, without reason. If it weren’t for his old man’s senior position in the Navy, he probably would have been expelled from the USNA, as he was the ultimate scofflaw of its stern regulations for Midshipman.
