As a big fan of strategy games such as Total War and Crusader Kings, I found this set of sites extremely interesting.

Extremely interesting,
The interactive map is fantastic to play with.
One problem with it is that it doesn’t show the modern Islamic invasion of Europe or predict the future annihilation of the indigenous European populations by their hand.
Admittedly it does show an “Islamic tensions” TAB in the 1989 – present map, but it clearly understates the enormity and the frequency of Islamic terrorist attacks across Europe. It most certainly dismisses the thousands of individual domestic terrorist attacks on individuals, like the frequent gang raping of young European girls.
It also understates the percentage of Muslims in each country i.e. France 2%, not so much, the CIA World Fact Book places the Islamic infestation of France from between 5% – 10%. Other reliable sources closer to 10%.

Since I love strategy games myself (but mostly stick to tabletop stuff), what are Total War and Crusader Kings like? PC, turn based?

The Total War series is a suite of similar games that is light on politics and focuses on historically accurate battle. The campaign maps are turn based, the battles are real-time. Here’s an intro video of Medieval 2. Most of the games are similar to this, but each is a little different in significant ways. Best text references link for the whole series.
Now, Crusader Kings II and Europa Universalis IV are the _exact_ opposite. CK2 running from 1066-1444, EU4 follows from 1444-1821. They are heavy on internal politics and geo-political strategy and light on battle gameplay. Here’s a good intro video.and an excellent Crusader Kings II Wiki.

For anyone who’s looking for a copy of those games cheap, check out g2a.com or humblebundle.com they can be snagged dirt cheap. Though for anyone who enjoys political simulators I recommend Democracy 3, it’s fun.
