Small correction on the story. He was never a Canadian. Canadians don’t fight for ISIS. Good riddance, and I really don’t care what the “root cause” of his problems were.

I’m terribly disappointed the CBC site didn’t allow comments.
I’m assuming some comments would not have respected the dead jihadist, so our National treasure didn’t allow any.
I WAS going to speak respectfully about root causes and feelings of isolation for a man belonging to a minority religion in redneck Alberta,etc., etc., but it’s a moot point now, CBC doesn’t allow any comments on this story.
Over a billion bucks we spend on this outfit and they won’t even allow comments.

Whenever I look at clips of the ISIS armored convoys, I picture a group of A-10 Warthogs coming down on them and shredding that armor with spent Uranium. Then to finish the job, a nice thick blanket of Napalm. To dream!

Just another sad end to a member of the collective of usefully naive that believe it’s unfair that we not allow them to import a medieval belief that let’s them run around lopping of heads and stoning women for specious reasoning espoused centuries ago by some Arab that may never have existed.

His family here should be questioned, not that they could be trusted to tell the truth, but they should be suspect as supporters of our enemies. Citizenship should be revoked on anyone who leaves to fight with terrorists and anyone who supports them.

I’m with Liz and Justthikin on this only we should take it one step further, in future every member, and their families, of the mosque that a jihadist was a member of should be deported. Canadian citizen, landed immigrant, foreign student, no damned exemptions, deported ASAP. I’m past the point of tolerance and acceptance of people that want to change the country my forefathers created.

Along with a jihad discount on one-way fares, AC could offer jihad seating, on the floor, Could triple carrying capacity.
The program needs a nation-wide campaign and a slogan: “Go East, Young Man”.

Regarding Nenshi, I think he says nothing about events like the mini riot a couple of weeks ago or the demise of Shirdon because there would be no purpose. The jihadists are already planning where to place the spike with his head on it.
