  1. Nice pic. The little buggers(well can’t call them that since they are female)are all over my garden and flower beds this year. Good to see.

  2. Nikon D600 with 28-300mm lens
    Set at 300mm @ 1/250 sec, f6.3, ISO 110
This image was highly cropped from the original.

  3. Very nice Robert!
Yeah, that 300 mm can create some lovely bokeh, eh?
    Love the composition.
    Some girls soon?

  4. Nice pics.
The death of the bees is another piece of PC Bull.
Yes the commercial hive bees are dying, from a fungal infestation.
    These are European bees.
The Native to North America Bee, is fine.
Thriving in all the wild areas.
Meanwhile down in Bee Keeper country, what do we see?
    Monoculture.
The roadsides mowed and treated with herbicide.
The wild area overgrown with nonflowering scrub or plower under for crops.
Must be slim pickins for the bees once the primary crop flowers.

  5. Now that is a beautiful clear picture of our little friends at work.
Lots of bees at work around here in grain country. Here and there in a grassy treed area among the crops fellows have a dozen or so hives set up to house the bees working the canola and hay fields.

  6. Those bees are more “Freeman on the Range” types than citizens.
I’m just being obtuse, never mind me. 😉
Have a good night and an even better tomorrow everyone.
