Our Noel Sheppard passed away yesterday (Friday) morning at about 5:00 AM. Say a prayer for the soul of a man we’ll all miss professionally, and many, many of us will miss personally as well. Noel was not just a force of nature, he was a very good man.

And the answer is after all these years of non smoking cadillac converters shut down the coal plants no second hand smoke etc.what have we gained. I guess that is a question.

I must have been extremely scary for the poor man. Right out of the blue. I had stage 4 melanoma in 1978, and obviously survived, but every unique pain in the ensuing years was a scare. I’m sure his family is just shell shocked. My sympathy for all concerned.

My condolences go to his family. Its not going to be easy for his wife or daughter & maybe other kids.
He wrote his own epilogue in splendid prose.
