  1. Based on allegations of huge short positions in Silver and Gold from this and other ‘too big to fail’ entities, the next few trading days could potentially add to this growing toll.

  2. How many finance workers and business leaders around the world are there? How many untimely deaths per three week period normally occur amongst this group?

  3. I have read stories of coincidental deaths among financial workers for decades. No matter how many die, we remain beset by them.

  4. Bizarre? Hit list to be silenced. The financial system of this world is rotten, rotten to its core.

  5. You gotta be naive if you don’t think the mob and CIA parks big money in Wall Street. Just like the Russian Mafia and Cyprus banks , the US Mafia uses Wall Street as a laundry service – these shleppers were either skimming or ratting on their clients and the mob is taking out the garbage

  6. As per the joke about the hundreds of dead lawyers at the bottom of the ocean: it’s a good start, I suppose.

  7. This. While it is fun to joke and speculate about some sinister group systematically killing people in the financial industry, the simple fact is, there are so many people employed in this industry that it would be downright weird if a few of them didn’t die in unusual circumstances in a given time frame.
It’s the old “bus plunge” gambit. A bus goes through the guard rail on a mountain road, and “plunges” into the abyss. That makes the papers. For several weeks hence, the papers will be full of “bus plunge” stories culled from local news around the world, giving the impression that there is a world-wide epidemic of “bus plunges”. Why? Because it sells newspapers. Or TV ads.

  8. Perhqaps JP Morgan executives have consciences, unlike Goldman Sachs executives. Did Corzine commit suicide when he lost a cool billion?

  9. Good question TheTooner. Are the deaths statistically significant?
Coincidentally I just finished the “mysterious deaths” chapter in Vincent Bugliosi’s 1600 page magnum opus Reclaiming History about the JFK assassination. Total mysterious deaths after the assassination = zero. Nada.
These high finance cats live impossibly miserable workaholic lives for nothing worthwhile.
I believe they may be even more pathetic than workaholic high level corporate lawyers.

  10. The list doesn’t include Richard Talley, CEO of American Title, who died last week of “self -inflicted injuries”, to wit, 7 or 8 shots from a nail gun to the ‘head and abdomen’.
I’ll leave it to the D-I-Y’ers out there to speculate on how plausible it is to kill oneself with a nail gun; but for the people who are saying this is just coincidence.. really?

  11. Yo! Dimmy (as in “lightbulb”) if you believe Vince “the Bug” Bugliosi….well, more power to ya! To call that piece of drivel a “magnus opum” merely shows that what you have been smoking is now legal in two states.
