  9. as it turns out – I’m a bit of a legend at Sonnys Bar & Grill in Noonan, ND. It involved a bike gang, a lot of bourbon, and a lot of joking around. No firearms were involved.

  15. Sounds like a good idea Kate. Between the provinces of Sask. & Dakota we’d control huge amounts of conventional oil and we both believe in frakking. And on a personal side my family have relatives in Dakota it would be nice to have us reunited. 🙂

  17. Sounds good to me. We have a lot more in common with N Dakota than we do with southern Ontario or Quebec.

  18. Canadian west’s manifest destiny is to bring true freemarkets and constitutional freedom back to the USSA. Let’s start by annexing the Bakken ND and SD have some first class Pheasant hunting and they are NRA red states, they will integrate into the new republic of western Canada 🙂

  25. The sad fact of our joking may come true in a different form.I think there is a point States will just opt out of the USA socialist state or form small community’s.
    The large nation State has been killed by Obama, along with Patriotism.
    By a federal Government gone mad with power grabs for more power.

I have been writing (slowly) a science fiction novel set far in the future, and I have been toying with the idea that the expedition has been sent out by the Republic of North-Central America, which consists of the Rocky Mountain states, the upper Midwest, and the prairie provinces. The idea sounds better and better.

  27. Don’t forget to include Northern Alberta and Northern BC as non zombie zones. Still holding out for sanity and no go zones for tree huggers.
