We Don’t Need No Stinking Giant Fans

No Tricks Zone;

Bosch Rexroth is just the latest in a series of setbacks the wind energy industry has seen over the last months. Germany’s solar industry has already collapsed and wind energy is just the latest victim in Germany’s rollback of renewable energies. Spiegel here writes that Germany’s solar industry has shedded half its jobs in the last two years alone!

  1. The unfortunate part in all this is that a lot of the green foolishness production facilities were
    “gifted” to former East Germany after a long and dismal “reintegration” which carefully excluded
    “foreign capitalism” and “lower wage rates” which could have given the region a quick jump start
    and the self confidence needed to go after international business investment on their own. So now
    as all these “industries of the future” are collapsing around them, they are reeling backwards.
    Going to be a lot of very angry people once they clearly realize how they have been screwed by
    their west German political and union brethren. Not to mention those who never bought into the
    stupid green nightmare in the first place.

  2. A local company with ties to one of the companies mentioned is/was part of a family who made their money by hard work. When approached several years back to divest some or all of their holdings they did so.
    This still gives me hope there will be some entrepreneurs left in Ontario to clean up the mess of our electrical supply problems when the incompetent coat tails of the Lieberal Party slither away to hide with their dupe in chief.
    Just hope there are more of the business people, who were in place before the coat tails started their clamour for getting on to the gravy train. More of real business people who recognized the creature being promoted and got away ahead of the troubles coming. Cheers;

  3. I guess a few words get botched in translation; or the jobs are just being stored in a shed.
