The Japanese answer to this socialism/high cost of living problem is a falling birth rate. Men are not getting married and not fathering children, in record numbers.
The inner-city USA (black, white, whatever) answer to date is single motherhood and a rising birthrate, with incidental massive increase in infant mortality.
Of the two, I think Japanese men have behaved with more honor.

Black Americans had more intact families and better educational and occupational opportunities during the Second World War than afterwards and that was during a time of sanctioned racism. Now, many black Americans willingly throw themselves in front of the gravy train, an unsustainable yet (for them) minimally rewarding way of life. The Democrats may have their voting block now but when the gravy train derails (and it will), how will the angry mob support itself after the riots have died down?
They’re going to starve, obviously.
When they finally figure that out is when the riots will -start-.

I remember reading about a decade ago that young black women who
were serious about their careers and education could not find
suitable young black males because so many were on drugs, parole
and probation, or were in gangs, jail or prison.
A lot of these young women were gravitating towards white males.
Any young black female serious about an education and a career
had to start looking for a guy who shared their ambitions.
