Certainly gives credence to the contention the reserves are being controlled by a particular criminal organization that models itself as some kind of warriors society.
If this is allowed to continue, I can’t see it ending any other way than badly.
If the government doesn’t want to encourage vigilante retribution they have to get a handle on this immediately.

It is a national disgrace and just another example of how politicians of EVERY stripe circle the wagons to protect their party, leaving these taxpaying Canadian citizens swinging in the wind.
Damn the msm for putting the “reputation” of natives ahead of the “abuse of rights” of white Canadians.

There should be a medal presented when acts like this occur. Let’s call it The Caledonia Cross. A tin cross with an ostrich on it, head planted in the sand, suspended from a yellow ribbon with a brown streak down the middle.
This is too big for our police. We need to have the military intervene. Immediate blockades at every road leading off the reserve. Box them in and let nature take it’s course. These people think they’re separate nations. Time to actually treat them as such. Cut all access, cut all power. Starve them out.
So are the police saying that it it is “open season” for crime in Caledonia? Doesn’t that mean its open season for “hunting” of Caledonia occupiers?
Put that notice out there, and the occupiers will disappear the same day the hunters arrive.
Also file under, “Why you DO need a fully automatic military assault rifle” and shove it up the Marxists asses every time they bring that one up.
This trend toward violent protest in Canada is growing whether it be Indians or other protest groups over an almost endless list of topics. Before Canada becomes another 3rd world lawless wasteland, Samolia for example, provincial and federal governments need to step in, declare that this behaviour will not be tolerated and if necessary the military will be sent in with orders to restore law and order no matter what the cost. The vast majority of Canadian citizens are law abiding citizens but the more these kinds of incidents occur the less likely we’ll be prepared to remain law abiding.
I guess the obvious solution to this would be to scrap the entire reserve system so police could patrol the entire country. This story reminds me of the no go zones in france where sharia law supercedes the law for everyone else.
This whole Caledonia mess originated when the ex premier of Ontario dulton
mcguinty ordered the OPP to turn a blind eye to all lawlessness on the reserve. So the cops being good civil servants stood and watched as the
Indians became more out of control which has lead to the current situation.
Nothing will change until and unless the lieberal government of Ontario is
booted out, hopefully for a very, very long time. One thing for certain is none of this would have happened under Mike Harris.

Situation is rotten all the way down.
First Canada must respect the law, equality before the law,applying to all.
Then Ontario must fire the politicians who caused this mess and continue to prolong it.
Then the upper management of the OPP&RCMP need to be shown the door.
Then the racist court system, the lowered expectations of Natives BS, one law or no law.

So the official agencies of civil recourse have demonstrated their solidarity with the worst thugs and criminals of Canada.

Politicians fail to lawfully resolve the malaise of the police services, they are now complicit.

In the spirit of Kate’s famous “not rioting is a failed strategy” … what we need is some well orchestrated political street theater, as follows:
* a couple of dozen husky lads (all whiter than the Queen of England of course), dressed in camo-style outdoor / hunting gear and all wearing a Balaklava (and dark sunglasses) to hide their faces
* 2 or 3 faux “squaws” with several infants (to confuse the issue)
* some very prominently displayed First Nations symbols, like their flag and a 6N sign or two, etc. etc. …maybe some faux feathers on an “Indian” head-dress, etc.
* and set up a protest right out side the front door of Kathleen Wynne’s home, loudly chanting and hollering that “this is native land” etc. … pitch 3 or 4 teepees on her lawn … loudly shout and dance around Indian-like … a drum circle is ALWAYS in style at these things.
Let’s see how the cops handle THAT “native protest”.
I can understand why Christie Blatchford is tired and disheartened by having to continue to write about this issue, but she seems like one of the few who is able to frame it accurately and ask for answers. Most disheartening to Conservatives (and Italians, I might add) has been the promotion to the Federal cabinet of the lazy, useless, preening public-relations policeman, Julian Fantino. Mr Fantino is one more piece of evidence that many of those who advise the Prime Minister on such matters are tin-eared and superficial in their analyses.

Ms. Blatchford was dead wrong in that article when she said that if it had been a child in the vehicle that it would not have made any difference and the response from police would have been the same.
That’s statements ridiculous. Of course the police would have charged the mother with abandoning her child in the vehicle. Custody would be removed from the parents and handed over to their new foster parents on the reserve.

From Ms. Blatchford’s column: “…[H]is officers are ‘severely out-gunned'”: why would that be, exactly? Even after they’ve, somehow, armoured up with “assault rifles”, to save a dog?
Everybody from Brantford ON (where I was born), including Wayne, knows what’s going on.
The Liberal government passed a law giving aboriginals convicted of crime a lesser sentence. The Supreme Court ruled that the law was constitutional in spite of it violating the Charter and Common-Law principle of equality before the law. Nor did they require any evidence that such a law would reduce crime.
The Harper Conservatives( or as I prefere to call them the “Timid Conservatives” have no intention to repeal that law.
Having “no go zones” on reserves because the government is afraid of being called “racist” will be repeated soon when the same thing happens with “no go zones” of Sharia Law. Parts of Toronto are predicted to be first.
I followed a smash and grab guy that I witnessed stealing a laptop in Chinatown here in TO a few months ago and two different 911 operators hung up on me when I told them I would not stop following the crackhead POS.
Cops are dangerous gubmint union grunts with guns.
One day soon somebody will just go and get their truck and dog back without calling these useless #######s.

That about sums it up. Oh yeah the police are there to protect you against anyone trying to defend themselves.
They’re “out-gunned” as the last thing the powers that be want to do is confront these thugs and have them break out the AK47’s and M16’s they have stashed for just such an occasion. It’d be really awkward to have to explain how that works post C68.
So, yet again, the ‘law’ fails the citizens. But, as some ‘libertarians’ on here have said, the ‘law’ isn’t accountable to us peons, so you’re screwed.
It is time for some drastic action. I think this reserve should be put under a full scale military blockade. We should treat this place like the Gaza strip. Cut power, cut gas, no one in, no one out. No goods no services, and not a single penny of public money for a single person. Wall the place off, cut phone lines and all other contact.
Organized crime cannot exist without some level of community tolerance and support. This is clearly an organized crime outfit.

The next time the UN sends a ‘Special Envoy’ to visit Canada’s Reserves, this Reserve should be first to be visited.

Between the situations in Caledonia and High River it appears that a divide is developing between the police and those they did serve at one time.
Canada has far more stupid people than intelligent people. someone with half a functioning brain would have cleaned that rats nest at caledonia out long ago. if it has to be violent, so be it.
The police have been getting upgunned and becoming militarized for year. How can they claim to be “outgunned”? More like they are “out-balled”.
Whenever somebody encounters this much “not my job” from police, particularly the Six Nations idiots, someone important is protecting an “arrangement”.
There is no such thing as the cops being “outguned” in this country. There is such a thing as stalling long enough to let Cousin Billy’s little helpers finish stripping an Escalade, so as to avoid the embarrassing problem of catching them at it in front of witnesses.
There’s also no way the Six Nations cops don’t know who’s involved. It’s a small town. Everybody knows everybody’s business. But as long as they restrict themselves to robbing The White Man, some areas of the Reserve are too dangerous for police to venture.
Let them steal a Montour’s car though…
