Of course he is a fascist that is why he is rounding up gays. OH wait!
Public Education Dumb by design.
Its from the “Student School” one of TDSB’s “alternative” schools.
Alternative reality, apparently. Visualize world peace, man.
Your tax dollars at work, Ontario!
Oh, and your’s too, Saskabushers. TDSB does get some federal money, as the biggest city in Canada doesn’t provide enough tax income to float their boat.
Just one more reason why hippie punching is never wrong.
You would be amazed how many people in so-called “higher learning,” with complete sincerity, call Harper a fascist. When called on it, they don’t back down, but have to contort themselves into all directions to try to redefine “fascism” as whatever Harper does.
It’s no surprise that this idiocy that’s so pervasive in University liberal arts has trickled down to some of the imbeciles in the public school system. The alarming part is that the curriculum is designed by these types of morons.
There needs to be a massive review and total overhaul of the public education system ASAP!
Man oh man! Bet you that there are thousands of parents up in arms about this!
Mass withdrawal of kids from the school system; angry protests at the SB offices; howls for heads, etc, etc.
What? Not ONE phone call??
Toronto: old Indian word for ‘land of squaw men’
The more I think about it, the more I think that we did not really win World War II and the Cold War. I probably have my terminology wrong here, but those were tactical victories — specific enemies were defeated or deflated and specific goals were met — but the long term strategic battle seems to have been lost: we have not defeated totalitarianism. The ideologies that lead to those global conflicts are still with us and are on the rise. You see the totalitarian impulse in everything from Obama’s policies to the stupidity and overbearing of a local school board. And I’m not entirely sure which is more frightening: is government overreaching because a corrupt leader and cadre is directing it, or are they overreaching on their own initiative? I really do think that the latter is the more dangerous situation.
That said, if someone wants to set up a “Wall Toronto” Kickstarter, I’ll contribute a few bucks.
Wall off the city of Toronto? You bet,I’ve been suggesting Toronto become a City-State within Canada, holding it’s own elections and it’s citizens not allowed to vote in ours, for years.
Most of the social engineering ideas start in the petri dish of TO socialism, and while some may benefit Toronto, the effect on the ROC is usually negative.
I won’t even mind when Toronto alone basks in the glory of the Leafs when they win the Stanley Cup,as they do almost every year.
The ROC can just sulk and mutter,”just wait ’til next year”.
Don Morris said: “Most of the social engineering ideas start in the petri dish of TO socialism…”
You know, its actually worse than that. Toronto socialists don’t originate most of this crap at all. It comes from New York and San Francisco, mostly backed by money from large liberal non-profits like the TIDES Foundation, or other giant trust funds.
Example, we have gun control in Canada due largely to money from the Pew Charitable Trust and a few more. You don’t think Windy Wendy raised all than dough on her own, do you? Or the local pipeline uproar, that’s all American money those protesters are getting paid with.
Toronto socialists are just scumbags on the take. Make hippie punching the new national sport, they’re -so- asking for it.
“One of its schools endorses Holocaust-denying, 9/11 conspiracy website and calls PM Harper a ‘fascist'”
If Harper actually was a fascist the left would love him.
Wall off Toronto? Toronto, the centre of the Universe? Hogtown-on-Lake-Ontario?
Shocking.
A shockingly good idea. When I was living there my only consolation was that if WW III broke out, the Commies might drop a big one on TO. I was prepared to sacrifice for the greater good!
As for LM’s comment, yes, in many ways we scored only tactical victories. However, millenarianism is an ancient social disease. The present form of the disease comes directly from the many outbreaks in the 19th century.
The resolution of the Paris Commune appears to have been more effective than most: conservative forces killed anyone they could lay their hands on, who was in any way a Communard. At very least 7000 of them were slaughtered. Having said that, I may note that the Russian experience suggests that going through the full course of the disease, in all its bloody malignancy, is also effective; though the suffering is enormous.
So because the school site supposedly run by kids, links to a site that is allegedly anti-Semitic (I haven’t looked), you want to build a wall around Toronto? You know that the government funds the Catholic school system, right? And that the Catholic school system teaches values that are primarily rightwing, right? So why shouldn’t the lefties have their own school?
(Don’t get me wrong… I don’t think schools should push a political agenda, unless it means teaching a science-based curriculum, and pushing tolerance, which isn’t about politics, but common sense.)
Nobody gets wrong John.
… you …
No surprise, they’re appealing to the sensibilities of the minorities just to make them feel inclusive, that’s why they’ve banned the Lord’s Prayer, Christmas, God and anything to do with Christianity in Ontario Public schools. The Catholic schools are the exception, they are public schools as well, paid for from the public purse and more and more Christians are sending their kids to them.
“TO School Bored” circling the drain of civilization…

They do,John. They are called universities. Now put your tele-tubby pants back on,and go to you gubermint job.
I’ve gone to Catholic schools my whole life and never once was I taught that the Holocaust did not happen or that the prime minister, not matter how incompetent or weaselly, was a fascist. I did study geography, history, math, languages- you know- useful things the TDSB won’t teach.
I see you’re filling NME666 and Dick Slater’s voids today.
Yes, the Church of Rome do collect tithes from Protestant and Jewish taxpayers, in the form of tax money sent to Ontario Catholic schools, which, by all accounts, are themselves increasingly giving up even the pretense of Christianity in their instruction.
As for walling off Toronto, well, make that Bay Street and I’m with you. Using taxpayer money to finance madrassahs, Marxist, Muslim or Roman, committed to recruiting the innocent for sedition, is ultimately in nobody’s interest but Bay Street’s. Short term, they make a good living off keeping people ignorant of economics, never mind Christianity. Long term, of course, their ultimate goal is to see off Christian civilization entirely, and replace it with something whose denizens are less likely to object to the bankers’ dominion over all the kingdoms of the world, and no more dream of salvation than they do of visiting the moon.
What nonsense the children being trained to be the vanguard of any of a number of revolution may be hearing at school is beside the point. All the Queen’s enemies, Roman, Muslim, socialist (national or otherwise), ultimately serve the same infernal master, and all their lies, contradictory though they are, all come from the father of all lies.
Any school system, private or public, that seriously proposed to teach students the truth about banking, never mind social credit, would find its overdrafts called in the next morning and would need to hold bake sales to pay the hydro bill, never mind for sports supplies.
A government that did what was just in the eyes of the Lord, after seeing off the banks, would do well for their next act to do away with schools. Everyone knows there is nearly nothing a teacher has a real duty to do at a school—teach students to read the Bible and to add, subtract, multiply and divide—that a computer cannot be programmed to do today, and do it much better and with far more patience.
I knew you would show up and sound no different from John.
One day we will be walling up the Manitoba border.
I probably won’t live to see it. Its coming though.
Its amazing really. Almost as if they were both the same troll with two sock puppets.
Toronto?
I prefer to call it “The Middle-East” of Canada.
John! Tolerance? Values? Common sense? Science based? Rightwing? Antisemitic? Today’s special is the John Word Salad! I missed you man.
After we wall it off, can we fill it with water…?
We never see them in the same room at the same time, do we?
Let us take a summary.
Alternative reality, apparently. Visualize world peace, man.

And then there is John. What can one say? Dreaming of communist paradise does not require critical thinking. It is a lotus eaters land.
Are Catholics in Toronto or Ontario tax exempt or do those that are critical just ignore the facts for convenience.
Toronto: old Indian word for “sheep country”.
“Yes, the Church of Rome do collect tithes from Protestant and Jewish taxpayers, in the form of tax money sent to Ontario Catholic schools …”
The separate schools collect education tax dollars from Roman Catholic citizens of Ontario, although all taxpayers are asked to which system they wish to contribute. The only real issue is what percentage of the province’s populace is Catholic and what percentage of education tax dollars goes to the separate schools. There might be a small discrepancy with regards to the respective percentages, but I doubt it’s really big and it would be almost impossible to make them line up exactly.
The proper course of action here is to institute a voucher system for education so that all parents can have options similar to what Catholics currently enjoy, and to eventually abolish public education. Ever notice how anything with “public” as an adjective in front of it inevitably goes into the toilet?
Dick Slater: “Yes, the Church of Rome do [sic] collect tithes from Protestant and Jewish taxpayers, in the form of tax money sent to Ontario Catholic schools …’
Put a sock in it, Dick Slater.
Ontario taxpayers have to check a box to indicate where their taxes are going: to the Catholic board or to the public one.
If Protestant and Jewish taxpayers choose to give their educational tax dollars to the Catholic system, then who the hell are you to question their choice?
It’s obvious that you don’t contribute to the Catholic system and that’s just fine. Your choice. But stop your bigoted, ignorant — as in you don’t know what you’re talking about — anti-Catholic rants which, in this case, are simply inaccurate and incendiary.
I’ll pray for you — and I mean it.
