Indiscriminate diversity and related self-destructive demented progressia has a cost – Fort Hood was just one payment of many.

Wouldn’t you expect this kind of thing as a matter of course? How many applicants had ties to the Russian mob, or the Chicoms?
And really, if your super duper NSA phone call database can’t reveal this kinda thing, why are you doing it?

I read a Forbes article about high tech business connections between Israeli and West Bank Arabs. Cisco is the driving force. I thought a rather naïve effort that business obviously trumps political and religious differences. I could not help but think the Arabs were involved for potential intelligence and terrorist opportunities.
All that said I never underestimate the Israeli ability to see through all the BS.
Saw the same thing happen with north american police forces in the mad rush to ensure that a p. force truly represented it’s ‘diverse’ community. Everyone wanted to be the first to hire and promote that Cambodian Refugee or the young Haitian – and to deal creatively with the fact that they certainly did have a few friends and family members who, in another circumstances, would have warranted abandonment of any more recuitment action.
Anybody who thinks that CIA government hiring officers should be allowed to discriminate against, ah, certain minorities just because of their beliefs and practices in how to reach paradise must be racist or something.

If I had Trump type money, I’d put put billboards up in and around DC castigating the FBI for all their screwups – Fort Hood, Boston, 9/11. Pix of the dead. Mueller featured prominently.

America has a cultural intelligence problem all round.
Apparently this problem is related to the tiny number of Americans getting high level Arabic language training.
So sure, let’s take a short cut and hire people already fluent in Arabic and, um, do get arounds on the terrorism problem. And let’s spend more on cool gadgets.
And besides, the successful candidates will be so pleased with America’s kindness, the hostility will dissipate. As we all know liberals actually think this way.
America is toast because all, ALL, its institutions, fully including the military, have been destroyed by PC, aka, cultural Marxism.
All Israeli students receive Arabic language training.
We started the same thing years ago in Canada,in CSIS,the RCMP, and every City police force. I remember a mild controversy back in the ’80’s when someone was skeptical of CSIS hiring Chinese employees,which was quickly swept under the carpet of political correctness.

I like that. Unfortunately too many bureaucrats have a agenda and they have been empowered by the lack of political will by our elected representatives to push forward with ideals that are personal and beyond their station. They do it because no one is stopping them. Gun control, bicycle helmets, anti-smoking legislation, BC’s .05 alcohol revision, permits to hold neighborhood barbecues and a endless list of other rules and regulations. It starts with small nibbles that turn into bites and does not stop until it looks like California or Bloomberg’s New York. Governments change but the bureaucrats remain to carry out their personal agendas. The loss of freedom always starts with the nibbles and run away bureaucracy.
I’ve a crazy idea:
Why not limit CIA recruitment to American born citizens.
It’s not foolproof, of course, but it would at least mitigate the risks.

It is well known within the Canadian government that the Chinese have hacked into their data bases. Probably nothing worth stealing left. Besides that the new Chinese workers wouldn’t have enough seniority to elbow their way to the trough. It is already surrounded by Canadian born thieves, I mean Senators.

If the CIA limited recruitment to American born citizens they would only be able to spy on America.
The CIA mandate as an intelligence agency expressly forbids operating in or spying on Americans.
The CIA’s Five Priorities:
-Counterterrorism, the top priority given the ongoing Global War on Terror.
-Nonproliferation of nuclear and other weapons of mass destruction, with North Korea described as perhaps the most difficult target.
-Warning American leaders of important overseas events, with Pakistan described as an “intractable target”.
-Counterintelligence, with China, Russia, Iran, Cuba, and Israel described as “priority” targets.
-Cyber intelligence
Yeah well, in other news former Major Hassan, the Fort Hood killer, is now in Leavenworth Federal Prison….and has been forcibly shaved.
