Oh, I see. The white president whose affluent grandparents paid his way through life and whose arrogance and laziness, along with scandal after scandal, have been hallmarks of his presidency gets to bore crowds with empty platitudes but not anyone else, particularly a hard-working conservative black American senator.
Post-racial America, indeed.
Conservatives or libertarians, or whoever, who are not left aligned have to realize they are now in a spiritual/values based war with the “left” – they have become a force for evil because they have lost any and all moral or ethical direction – I do not condemn the zombie hordes who follow this errant idealism – they have been conditioned to accept malicious agendas as being right/trendy/progressive – but any rational objective appraisal of these agendas reveals them to be not only wrong but malevolent – my case in point is the Obama zombies who want to engage in an illegally sanctioned war with Syria because the “one” has suggested it is just the “right thing to do” – severely dangerous situation – for US democracy
I happened to see a few minutes of bambam’s speech while in a waiting room and from what I heard he said things are worse off for blacks than 50 years ago and it is those white corporate 1% ers that are keeping the man down. His speech was just a summary of his socialist ideals. I heard that among the speakers there the old Trayvan race card came out. MLK would be embarrassed. Everything I remember and read about the man indicates that he was above the petty race bating crap Sharpton, Bambam and the like are pushing.
Just flipped the TV in the hotel on. (on the road for work)
It was on CNN. There were two black guests on, both women, one a decedent or otherwise related to King.
Both were slamming the President for affirmative action type programs, noting that they were raised to look unto themselves for success, etc. The one even went on a rant about ‘Obamacare’ fostering dependency.
The host kept cutting them off, trying in vain, to steer them back to the ‘narrative’.
Quite entertaining.
Martin Luther King actually gave me some interesting reading today.

It’s almost as if the Democrats were the segregationists…oh wait…
Content of their character.
Yep.
and Byrd had to died before this, what a waste!!!!
“Obama handlers defile Martin Luther King’s Memory. MLK, a legendary equality, justice, and peace activist, who championed character over the color of one’s skin is compared with warmongering corporate servant Obama by the Obama media hacks simply because of the color of his skin.
The differences between Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and current US President Barack Obama could not be greater. In fact, the only thing they have in common is that they are both black. Yet somehow, Western media outlets have managed to draw parallels between these diametrically opposed figures – Why? Merely because President Obama is black? Or because President Obama embodies any of the ideals of justice, equality, and peace that Martin Luther King Jr. championed for during life, and ultimately died for?
There is no greater way to defile the memory of Martin Luther King Jr. than to compare him with US President Barack Obama – a servant of an engine for the greatest disparity, inequality, and injustice on Earth – driven by the very corporate-financier interests King stood up against, was opposed by throughout his entire life, and most likely was killed by.
Indeed, despite the left-leaning facade President Obama displays publicly, his entire cabinet, past and present, is a collection of corporate-financier special interests, warmongers, criminals, and elitists who merely couch a corporate-fascist, self-serving agenda behind well-meaning liberal-esque causes.”

I love that cartoon, it says it all.
I refused to listen to Obamas speech and would not in the least been surprised if during it he had claimed that Martin Luther King could have been his father. And considering his real father’s own record and personality King as a father would have been a vast improvement.
I agree with many who have suggested that King would be just as unhappy with America today as he was 50 years ago but certainly not for the reasons being framed by the Jackson – Obama crowd.
now decades after MLK we have blacks judging men by the color of their skin and we have whites judging people by the content of their character
Somehow this makes us whites the ones who are racist
up is down, night is day
Just another example of the lefts, Tolerance, Inclusiveness, Diversity.
As usual the sham parades itself in Democracies colors while underneath its rotted shell in the iron fist of totalitarianism.
