1. Now here is a group of people whose refugee status for immigration I could fully support. Happy to have them occupy some of the vacant church realestate in this country if Egypt and the murderous MB don’t want them. Where is the hew and cry from the Canadian refugee claims industry over this?

3. Lists of religious organization who support political policies of the regime of the day must have their motives called into question. We note how statist seculars like the Obama regime decry the involvement of the church in public life yet they are quick to trot them out to validate manipulative public policy agendas when convenient.
   We must question the credibility of such church support given that after the income act was passed all churches in the US had to be registered with the state and follow a list of state vended regulations in order to maintain a tax free status *among them, the non involvement of the church in politics*. I think this is the motivation that creates lists of churches backing government policy agendas – that and the fact these church head executive is no doubt infiltrated with partisan Dems/leftists.
   The bible refers to churches/priests who sell out their corporal independence and loyalty to God to the state as “Baal religion” or “Baal priests” – this came from the Jewish scribes noting how the Pharos of Egypt and the Kings of Babylon used religion and Priests to inflict their political will on the people as if it had been a command of god – this is how far the moral integrity of the US has fallen – a system so corrupt it has corrupted the churches.

5. I work with some Christians who came here a couple years ago from Egypt. I can’t imagine what it’s like for them to have to think of their family and friends going through this while they are toiling away at work. I’m sure they are completely stressed out under the surface.

6. Raymond Ibrahim’s book Crucified Again goes into great detail on the butchery going on today of non-muslims in Islamic countries and the burning of churches. In places like Nigeria the worshippers are in them when they are burned. Discussing this with a friend just over from Scotland and she laments the huge influx of muslims and how their cities are changing in the UK with places like Birmingham where you rarely see a white face anymore.

   A few years ago we attended a church service in Winnipeg in what used to be a fundamentalist church and our NDP daughter and her husband attend. That particular Sunday there was a handout for a discussion session. The title of the handout was “Marxism is good, Capitalism is evil”. Many have drunk from the cup of Baal. This is particularly galling to a person whose family has suffered so much from the real life application of Marxism.

    I would also like to point out that perhaps the Coptic church should do a little soul searching about it’s own virulent antisemitism and it’s behavior when Egypt’s Jews were the target.

    Other areas in the country attempted to compete. The school run by Franciscan nuns in Beni Suef was destroyed. It had been opened in 1889 and provided education to thousands of Egypt’s girls. A symbol of a bygone time. Lost with the building were many artifacts, statues and paintings. A museum in Malawi was also destroyed. About 1,200 ancient artifacts have been looted.
    A Coptic exodus has been under way for two years now in Egypt. The hopes unleashed by the 2011 revolution soon gave way to the realities of continued and intensified persecution. Decades earlier, a similar fate had befallen the country’s once-thriving Jewish community. The departure of the people is echoed in the decay of the buildings. The landscape of the country is changing along with its demography. A few synagogues stand today as the only reminder of the country’s Jews. Which churches will remain standing is an open question.

30. Most mainstream Christian denominations have become lefties, fundamentalist ones are not. The MSM reports only the comments of the mainstream denomination spokesmen, and not those that are speaking out in their periodicals against what is happening in Egypt and who are also “outing” the renegades for their support of radical Islam.
