1. He lives in his old riding which includes Parliament Hill and can walk to work. It seems that he decided to invest in real estate and have it paid for by the taxpayer.
   One of Jean Chretien’s senate appointees after being a loyal Liberal backbencher.

2. I see Stephen Taylor’s problem; he continues to see the CBC reporters as something other than Justin Trudeau’s steno pool.

8. Yes Grok, Kate gets results, but notice the article in the headline, or summary does not refer to Harb as a Liberal. In paragraph 3, it lumps in Harb with Brazeau and Duffy as having been investigated. Only in paragraph 6 does it refer to Harb a “former Liberal MP” appointed in 2003. Seems the CBC is still downplaying Harb’s political affiliations…

9. I’ve been watching CBC, er, news, this morning, they do a very quick blurb announcing the Mac Harb story then go through the cycle without any other mention of it.

12. This whole episode was such a squandered opportunity. Harper should have stood back and said look I wanted to reform this bidness and all you doodleheads scoffed at the idea. Ready for reform yet? Instead he got sucked into the blackhole of filth that is the senate.

20. Puritanical Dipper Paul Dewar got caught with his knickers down on this one. Proof that he who yells the loudest bears watching and checking. For someone to say it’s worse to be charged by EC than CRTC is really laughable given the bias shown by EC.
