A George Zimmerman Tip Line Goes Horribly Wrong

Breitbart;

On Monday afternoon, the US Department of Justice appealed to civil rights groups and the general public across the country for “tips” on George Zimmerman in their pursuit of potential federal civil rights charges against the just-acquitted defendant in the Trayvon Martin killing. The DOJ actually went so far as to set up an e-mail address to allow such tips: Sanford.florida@usdoj.gov. The email address is slated to go operational by the end of the week.

  1. I heard this case where a black kid named Trayvon Martin called a brown skinned Hispanic guy a Creepy-Ass Cracker and then tried to beat him to death. This is the kind of stuff they must be looking for.

  2. because #Witchhunt #Racebaiting #HateMongering #RiotProvoking excuse to expand #DHS & distract from #Scandals

  3. The Inquisition in retro by the 21st century Witch finders of race..
No one will do any thing from the Eunuchs of American politics the Republicans.
To the Hispanic community waiting for Obama to let 11 million in for free.No questions asked. As I’ve stated before . Obama is famous for his personnel Malice. Holder for being the bride of the Mafia.

  4. This just beggars belief!
Even the Stasi had the sense to know that gathering the goods for a government show trial had to be done discretely! Holder and Obama must be utterly oblivious to the implications this has for the rights and freedoms of the individual. Or more frighteningly, maybe they aren’t.

  5. This is not your run-of-the-mill administration, folks. This is something else altogether.
They’re trying to create racial animus in order to achieve even more power.
This grinning TOTUS will be remembered as a divider, not a uniter. He’s un-American to the bone.

  6. It must really piss off racist blacks like Obama and Holder that Zimmerman was the Mother Frigging Theresa of race relations. He had a black grandmother. He has black friends and relatives. He mentored black youth and took up the cause of injustice toward black people in conflict with the justice system. I wonder if Zimmerman has reconsidered his membership in the Democratic Party. The Jew haters in the Democrats started it all because his name is a common Jewish one and then he was considered white despite his brown skin and South American Indian and black ancestry. Confused racist ideas. He’s mixed race like Obama, the White Negro.

  7. I saw George Zimmerman drinking a Pina Colada at Trader Vic’s. And his hair was perfect.

  8. To no one’s surprise following the not guilty verdict of George Zimmerman the NBPP leader Malik Zulu Shabazz is calling for “his people” to wreak havoc against the white man. However, take a look at the second tweet wherein he says:
“Everywhere the white man has gone since released from the caves and hills of Europe the white man has killed and murdered the dark people.”
As an astute American Renaissance commenter observed: “If “ever since we were released from the caves and hills of Europe” we have been killing dark people, why do they insist on living in our countries? Rational people who lived in fear of us would move away. I’m now wondering, though: am I a hill-honkey or a cave-cracker?”

  9. There are certain people commenting on the Zimmerman verdict in response to news stories on Yahoo and other sites who mistakenly(??) blame the shooting on Florida’s Stand Your Ground Law. This is of course wrong as Zimmerman’s defense team deliberately avoided this law and instead went with “self defense”.
Now however I am starting to believe that these comments blaming Stand Your Ground were deliberately placed to sow confusion to the simple minded and actually represent the vanguard of a new offensive to attack gun laws and placate the “progressives”. Eric Holder fleshed out this new front in a speech to the NAACP today using the Zimmerman verdict as a springboard. Am I being paranoid? After watching closely the Zimmerman trial and subsequent events I don’t think so.

  10. This is outright persecution of a citizen. Revolution now please.
On the other matter, I haver reported seeing Mr. Zimmerman on a BC Ferry today.

    Exactly my sentiments.

  12. When are the US people going to realize that they have effectively been overthrown by this toxic regime. It is no longer the case that the Obama regime is incompetent; being led by the community organizer in chief, they are becoming truly dangerous.
We are witnessing, in real time, the sad decline of what had been the greatest nation on earth.
The stats are self-evident: more people on public assistance that are working, real unemployment above 14%, the pathetic statistics go on and on. We are seeing a once-proud nation declining into obscurity and irrelevance. It is painful to watch, because I happen to like Americans.
And although even I don’t think that Obama has the balls to try for a third term, it won’t matter, because the Democratic regime may well continue to effectively dismantle the USA in the the naive belief that “wealth redistribution” supplants ingenuity and self-reliance.
    They are killing America.

  13. The administration is floundering around trying desperately to stuff the Genie back in the bottle. They have lost control and it will prove to be costly. How many have do die to sate this savage beast?

  14. The media too. They are also trying in vain to drive the cooling rods into the pile but the mass has gone critical. I fear many will die.
Obama could stop all of this with a word you know…

  15. The best strategy would be to submit information that sounds helpful and plausible, but is entirely made up. The DOJ would either have to (1) waste massive resources trying to separate the wheat from the chaff (assuming there is some wheat), or (2) abandon the tip line.
Traditionalists would likely go for flooding the tip line with millions of emails, but I think that lacks finesse.

  16. The real question is: Will Obama use the political capital needed to quench this fire? Or will he fiddle while Rome burns?

  17. I predict that the administration will decide not to proceed with this.
Listening to the media, you would think that most Americans disagree with the verdict, but the few polls I’ve seen suggest just the opposite. Most Americans agree with the verdict, and would see a DOJ prosecution as double jeopardy, even if legally allowable. There will be considerable concern and anger, even from many Democrat supporters.
Given that Eric Holder is a political animal and his boss doubly so, that would likely be enough incentive for them to quietly bury this.

  18. So Obama and the US Department of Justice have opened a tip line / email account to gather information?
Why dont they just ask the NSA?
What a idiot move by an idiot administration.. We know everything about everybody except the information we need to cover Obama’s political interference in this case.. Mr poop and change needs a new diaper..
WTF is going on in America?
Here’s my tips.. I hear he only orders white meat at Popeyes..

  19. A great country being destroyed by hatred.
When will it end? So much damage done already.
    So very sad.

  20. re: “Related”:
The precise nature of the hate crime turns on the question “Where was the hyphen?” If Martin jumped Zimmerman because he thought he was a “creepy-ass cracker”, then it was a hate crime of the racist variety. If he jumped him ’cause he thought he was a “creepy ass-cracker”, then it was a homophobic hate crime.
    Enquiring minds want to know.

  21. Best tips? How about using 1/4 wire rope for hanging Holder and Obama on a lamppost by their heels? That way the fire below them won’t burn through regular rope.

  22. MLK made some observations that are still pertinent.
“Liberals in general, and the black left in particular, like the idea of talking about racial problems, but in practice they typically ignore the most relevant aspects of any such discussion. Any candid debate on race and criminality in this country would have to start with the fact that blacks commit an astoundingly disproportionate number of crimes. African-Americans constitute about 13% of the population, yet between 1976 and 2005 blacks committed more than half of all murders in the U.S. The black arrest rate for most offenses—including robbery, aggravated assault and property crimes—is typically two to three times their representation in the population.
“High rates of black violence in the late twentieth century are a matter of historical fact, not bigoted imagination,” wrote the late Harvard Law professor William Stuntz in “The Collapse of American Criminal Justice.” “The trends reached their peak not in the land of Jim Crow but in the more civilized North, and not in the age of segregation but in the decades that saw the rise of civil rights for African Americans—and of African American control of city governments.”
The left wants to blame these outcomes on racial animus and “the system,” but blacks have long been part of running that system. Black crime and incarceration rates spiked in the 1970s and ’80s in cities such as Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago and Philadelphia, under black mayors and black police chiefs. Some of the most violent cities in the U.S. today are run by blacks.
The homicide rate claiming black victims today is seven times that of whites, and the George Zimmermans of the world are not the reason. Some 90% of black murder victims are killed by other blacks.
So let’s have our discussions, even if the only one that really needs to occur is within the black community. Civil-rights leaders today choose to keep the focus on white racism instead of personal responsibility, but their predecessors knew better.
“Do you know that Negroes are 10 percent of the population of St. Louis and are responsible for 58% of its crimes? We’ve got to face that. And we’ve got to do something about our moral standards,” Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. told a congregation in 1961. “We know that there are many things wrong in the white world, but there are many things wrong in the black world, too. We can’t keep on blaming the white man. There are things we must do for ourselves.”

  23. I’m beginning to think this Obama administration wants to foment a civil war. The Republicans had better get off their backsides and start impeachment proceedings against Holder and Obama – at least there would be clear battle lines then.
Oh, was it racist that Zimmerman took a black girl to his high school prom? Obama married one, is he racist too?

  24. U.S. citizens, at least, should resist temptation to flood such a tip line with false, flippant, contemptuous, or misleading tips, along the lines of “I found mattress tags in George Zimmerman’s garbage.” If the administration cannot prosecute Zimmerman, the successful prosecution of individuals who made “false statements to Federal officials” about his conduct would make a nice consolation prize for Eric Holder’s DoJ.

  25. The gay bashing story is now on Drudge . Hopefully this eventually goes viral. This story is just going completely wrong for these people. Better luck next time retards.

  26. How many guns were sold to the Mexican cartels, Eric?
Every American should be afraid. If the IRS or the NSA don’t track one down, the DOJ can start a witch hunt. It’s disgusting.
It’s time to flood the DOJ tips hotline with the farcical rubbish it deserves.
I heard the Decepticons were behind this.

  27. As of this posting, 9:05 pm on 7/16/13, I sent an e-mail to that address and it has NOT bounced back.
I pointed out Zimmerman’s decidedly un-racist relationships with his black family members, friends, etc and the tweet from @GayPatriot linked above, and then the text of the Constitution.
I suggest you do the same.
    Crash that inbox.

  28. I’d say, FWIW, that you are essentially correct: I’d only add that Mr. Obama will not be ALLOWED to run for a third term — which has nothing to do, at all, with the 22nd Amendment, of course, but rather more to do with the Clintons, and all their, um, “Boardwalk Empire” Enoch Thompson schtick. Hillary will run as a sort-of Eisenhower-come-Nixon Republican, which she is anyway, aside from certain, er, proclivities and preferences, and all that, whatever…
Have a look at p. 694 of Conrad Black’s new book, “Flight of the Eagle: A Strategic History of the United States” (Signal MacClelland and Stewart, 2013), where the author, in his usual perceptive way, says this, about the essential bargain between the American people and Barack Obama in 2008:
“The great, white, decent, centrist majority of America…could be rid of its guilt and, as a bonus, never have to listen to the charlatan leaders of the African American political community who had unworthily succeeded Martin Luther King Junior, if it only elevated Barack Obama to the headship of the nation.”
Whereupon, in the face of a tight campaign last year, Mr. Obama deliberately and specifically reneged on that bargain, in respect of Mr. Trayvon Martin (“If I had a son…), and we are still hearing from Al Sharpton today, which is disgusting, actually (when is Jesse Jackson going to show up?). “O, what a tangled web we weave…” The Faustian bargain between Bill Clinton, who deliberately made it his business to campaign in the Great Lakes states against Mitt Romney, and Barack Obama, who abjectly couldn’t close the deal on his own, therefore makes the rise of Hillary unstoppable — she will “run” against all of this, of course, but deliver exactly the same.
But for two dissenting names: if you want to turn the tide against this…whatever it is, you would look to Sarah Palin and John Ellis Bush, preferably in that order.
I happen to love America, and what is happening makes me cry.

  29. This is some kind of cool.
A whole department (ministry) of the United States of America’s federal government against one man, that the jury said is innocent.
Is this a fantasy land? Is this a banana republic? Could this be real?
    Un-fracking-believable.

  30. Paula Deen said the N-Word one time. I think she should be tried for Trayvon killin.

  31. I suggest that the tip line be used for all of the illegal actions that Obozo has engaged in over the course of his life. We could start with his stellar high school career which seemed to consist of nothing than stoned driving and getting stoned, and then getting stoned some more. We could mention when Obozo described himself as Kenyan, the fact that no-one at university remembers him attending classes, ask about what is so secretive about his university marks, the problem of the forged birth certificate, etc. There’s enough there to keep the DOJ busy for years. Then there’s his illegal real-estate deals in Chicago, his association with incarcerated criminals (the former governor of Illinois), the abuse of presidential power, the myriad of unconstitutional actions he’s engaged in, violation of states rights in his crusade against Florida justice and failure to protect the US from a foreign invasion from Mexico. Then there’s his muslim religion, violation of the constitutionally guaranteed separation of church and state (in islam there is no such separation).
Of course there’s the Benghazi incident, the military action in Libya without consulting congress, the alleged pressure on a SCOTUS justice to pass obozocare, his appalling ignorance of constitutional law, his unconstitutional bugging of the conversations of all Americans etc.
If everyone just sent in one of the illegal things that Obozo has done I suspect that the tip line might suddenly be taken down. Also, the DOJ people, unless they are pre-programmed non-thinking Obozobots will likely hear material that the MSM has refused to cover. It might cause a few of individuals to come forward with information we haven’t yet heard about which would facilitate the impeachment of the person who is now the 2nd worst POTUS (and by far the worst TOTUS). I’m sure that Obozo dreams of a race war that would let him surpass the body count of his idol Lincoln, by far the worst president in US history.

  32. One should be careful of what they wish for, unintended consequences are a bitch. Got that NSA?

  33. Holder is a racist. Obama is a racist. Obama’s wife is a rabid racist.
There has always been this presumption that it is impossible for any black to be racist – ain’t true.
I wonder what all those white liberals who voted for Obama are thinking now.

  34. inflation has made the 30 pieces of silver much larger
the US constitution was supposed to guard the individual against the state , until something like this happens no can believe the truth of that foundation.

  35. David L’s warning is worth heeding. So I’ll leave my tip here. Some “white hispanic” came by inquiring about a room for rent. He had a couple of different IDs — one said “Ramon George Sneyd” and the other was “Eric Starvo Galt” ;o)

  36. The MSM seems upset that a juror said that Zimmerman was justified in killing Martin. I thought that’s what the whole not guilty thing was all about.

  37. David in Michigan:
Your own attorney General seems very confused about things he should have complete knowledge about. Things like the Law and constitution. I guess he must of missed that day in class. As a non-american I truly feel sorry for the ordinary US citizen just trying to live their lives free and with out government interference. Maybe the founding fathers knew a thing or two about imperialism and is exactly why the second amendment is there. Stay strong and remember all you have to do is get past the next mid-terms and maintain the house and win the senate and then Obama will be o-lame-o the final year or so. Then get the presidency back and start to repair the damage this clown has inflicted on the country. Going to take quite a long time. May have to build a new prison or two. Is that prison they were going to move the Guatanamo Bay inmates too still available. OR maybe Barry might like the heat of Cuba

  38. Remember, Nero SET THE FIRE.
He wanted to build a new capitol, “Neropolis”.

  39. I heard George Zimmerman use the “N” word in preschool.
No, I have never met George Zimmerman, but this is the kind of
crap the DOJ is looking for. They have blown past soliciting
heresay and have crossed into suborning jurjury!

  40. I say lets flood this tip line with tips on removing Eric Holder as AG.

  41. I don’t have any tips on Zimmerman, but I have lots on Holder, Clinton, Obama, Napolitano….

  42. Best comment so far: “Wondering how many phone calls the DOJ will get saying they saw George Zimmerman reading a Paula Deen cookbook?”
