Imagine she is talking about herself, not her mother. Can you even for a moment think of a world with Chelsea Clinton as president and Justine Trudeau as PM? I am gonna have trouble sleeping now…

  18. I have always loved Maria Callas. Her voice has a dark, rich quality that had never been bested. There are sopranos with a more crystal-clear sound but they don’t move me like Callas does.

  24. While on the subject of “journalism”, the ICIJ has released a searchable database of people and companies that use tax havens. I don’t have the knowledge to follow this stuff around,but a search of some words does give results. If you put in Montral,Quebec,Ottawa,etc. you will get some hits. That is not surprising.You even get a hit if you put in Chretien,as in “Chretien et Cie”.
    Likely means nothing,if it did the ‘crack’ journalists at the CBC would be all over it.

  27. many thought the subsequent massacre would force substantial nationwide changes to American gun laws…
    results have been mixed, with some states tightening laws, some actually expanding gun rights, and federal initiatives being soundly defeated…
    the changes that have occurred in those states seem to be relatively minor and in states that already have aggressive gun control laws.
    “They’ve made them a little bit more aggressive but I’m not aware of anything really significant that’s been done anywhere,” he said.

    The CBC is running a story on the tax havens uncovered by the ICIJ.My comments above are links to the ICIJ site. The one MAY point to Chretien,the other definitely points to Paul Martin. There is no doubt on that one.
    I have been trying to get this information posted on the CBC article. They even have a request link for any info or tips on this story.
    The CBC have ignored my comments. That in itself is not unusual. What is extremely unusual is that on my profile page they have one of my comments listed as posted. It is not.
