  1. Abdullah al-Twitter:

Saudi writer Abdullah Mohammed Al Dawood has urged his 97,000 Twitter followers to molest women hired to work as cashiers in big grocery stores in an attempt to “encourage” women to stay at home.

I’m sure Saudi women appreciate the moral support.

  2. Some interesting facts concerning the Hindenburg:
The skin of the airship was painted with a “dope” that was in chemical formula, pretty close to nitro-cellulose gunpowder.
The “air” bags were filled with Hydrogen, the sale of Helium to Germany being forbidden by trade sanctions.
Both caused the explosion and rapid fire that consumed the aircraft.

  3. Jeff Bauman had his legs taken from him in the terrorist attack at the Boston Marathon about 6 weeks ago, in a photo shown around the world, his lower legs are missing, he has tourniquets on his remaining legs to slow the bleeding as he’s being pushed towards an ambulance by Carlos Arrendondo, a man that lost his Marine son in battle, and his other son to suicide.
They’re at the Boston Red Sox game throwing out the ceremonial first pitch together. 30 seconds of video..

  4. EBD…re twitter.I see the fem-nazi accounts are reaching epic proportions, setting up protests, etc to fly to Saudi to protest this.No word from SOW(NOW) as yet.

  5. I couldn’t look at them all because the bile was rising in my throat.
Why are Mike Duffy’s expense claims being investigated and not 2/3 of the others as well?

  6. From that fascinating Stanley Kurtz article:
He references Michelle Malkin’s notation made during the 2008 Presidential campaign. “The Obama campaign is giving a glimpse of the future for conservative free speech.” Over at Hot Air, Ed Morrissey suggested that ”bullying people through the Department of Justice as a candidate will cause reasonable people to wonder what will happen if Obama gets elected.” The editors of National Review decried ”a desperate call for the Justice Department to muzzle political speech through the prospect of a criminal investigation – a demand that provides a disturbing sneak peak into what life would be like under an Obama Justice Department.”
    On the money.

  7. Fans of innocents everywhere will feel relief – not joy, not happiness – that mass murderer Henry Morgentaler has met his doom. I hope whatever gods there are mete out a just punishment.

  8. Right here, http://dailycaller.com/2013/05/29/pro-homeless-pols-give-street-people-the-bums-rush/ is how the communists of old behaved.
Can you say, “do as I say, not as I do?”
What a bloody low life, in fine clothing. Like you may expect, socialist/fascist aristocracy.
They would be talking demagoguery and when the proletariat had something to say, they would call the ruthless police to shut the proles up.
The police and the HS (somewhat reminiscent of SS) are much too refined to call direct hit, so they threaten, frighten and shut up people that are inconvenient.
Those who know, know this is how the Gestapo, NKVD, KGA and other such snatched ordinary people going about their business, people that spoke up, never to be seen again.
It is true this is not happening yet.
It’s all a matter of time.
Little bit by little bit at a time. You won’t even notice.
Take note, the bag man of the US government without any police power can destroy any US citizen what so ever, without so much as a peep from the US Congress.
To be sure, they do pay lip service, though up to now, nothing happened to the totalitarian bureaucrats of the administration and did not even touch the current occupant of the White House.

  9. “Why are Mike Duffy’s expense claims being investigated and not 2/3 of the others as well?” Duffy’s transgressions are being blown all out of proportion. I believe he is being targeted by the media because he “broke ranks” with the usual Ottawa media press gallery’s “party line”. That crew is transparently anti-Conservative. One theory is that Glen McGregor in particular had it in for Duffy because Duffy had earlier sued Frank Magazine for which McGregor worked. This is “pay back” time.

  10. “Gestapo, NKVD, KGA and other such snatched ordinary people going about their business, people that spoke up, never to be seen again.”
Our family knows a little about that.
    Well said Lev.

  11. Gunney, it’s worse than that. The resin component of the dope was indeed nitrocellulose (which was commonplace then, and for many years thereafter, too), but the pigment consisted of aluminum powder and iron oxide, which are the ingredients of thermite. Thermite is hard hard to set alight, but once going, it burns very hot, and scatters droplets of molten iron. You can see all the bright sparks in the movie, there.
Basically, they had bags of hydrogen gas wrapped in fireworks.

  12. I went to Cheryl Gallant’s home page and voted FOR her motion. We can’t wait for a perfect Bill or Motion, we have to chip away at the nonsense and expensive foolishness. One brick at a time!
This Senate “scandal” is just a smokescreen to hide the Quebec construction industry fraud and stall any forward progress by the CPC Government.

  13. Here’s hoping:

The Republican National Committee has submitted a Freedom of Information Request for emails between the State Department and President Obama’s re-election campaign in an effort to get the truth about talking points developed to explain the 9/11 Benghazi terror attack. The FOIA requests copies of all emails and documents that include the words “Libya” and/or “Benghazi” between State Department employees and Obama’s campaign staff between September 11 and November 7, 2012. This time period covers the 9/11 attack and the appearance of UN Ambassador Susan Rice on five Sunday shows when she blamed a YouTube video.

  14. This is interesting.
I was looking up something else and found myself on the wiki-page of my new best friend Justin.
I have always been given the impression that JT scored an impressive victory in Papineau, wrestling down a BQ stronghold. I’m sure that our media folks have mentioned that a few times. Well,in actuality, Papineau has been a solid Liberal riding since 1953,except for the 2 years before Justin won it. Just a small embellishment courtesy of the Liberal party and their best friends.

  15. CBC will be all over this story.
” Ontario gov’t in $40M lawsuit for contract award to prominent Liberal’s relative”
    From the article;
” the company bid on and won a request for proposals ”
But they lost it to a company ” which is run by Doug Hall, brother of prominent federal Liberal Martha Hall Findlay, ”
Martha Hall-Findlay is not commenting as it is before the courts.
    Could be nothing,but….

  16. Perhaps I see a small contradiction here as Obama is in Chicago stumping for the rights of Gays to marry, but has no problems importing oil from Nigeria which he seems to prefer over Canadian oil. Nigeria is standing behind their moral standards against the politically correct onslaught by the gay lobby. Bet you won’t hear anything on the MSM over this story.
    http://hosted.ap.org/dynamic/stories/A/AF_NIGERIA_GAYS?SITE=FLTAM&SECTION=HOME&TEMPLATE=
Yet the attitude by the Obama administration seems to be “any oil except Canadian”. Guess kissing tree hugger butts and Hollywood is more important than his new found love for gay rights.

  17. Of Ontario’s Bolshevik Wynne.
    …-
“Wynne says province could intervene if Rob Ford situation deteriorates”
“S&P warns it may downgrade Ontario, raises questions over costs”
    (G-M)

  18. Maz2 — I could not believe that headline regarding Wynne raising the possibility of the province removing Ford. Absolutely outrageous. On what basis would be be removed? Rumours, I guess. Accusations from his political enemies. Why didn’t the Province remove McGuinty when he was bankrupting us?
