People too began to suffer. Dalahai villagers say their teeth began to fall out, their hair turned white at unusually young ages, and they suffered from severe skin and respiratory diseases. Children were born with soft bones and cancer rates rocketed.”

And lets not forget that Canada, the home land of this blog’s author, and Saskatchewan, the home province of this blog’s author, is quickly becoming a player in the sourcing of rare earth minerals of all types.
Should we all take umbrage at the obscene abuse of the alternative energy wholesaling schemes. The crony capitalism, the government interference and corruption by government in what should be a free market alternative energy market….hell yes.
Governments (the more liberal the worse it gets) across the board have virtually destroyed the alternative energy markets with their interferences via subsidies, kickbacks and grants. That does not mean that there isn’t a very important place for wind and solar across the planet.
And I am not speaking of corrupt GE, Siemens, T. Boone Pickens,Justin Trudeau,Barack Obama wind. I am talking about mom and pop get off the grid local generation that makes economic sense.
Every Kwh of energy produced by Mom and Pop, starves the government of taxes, and puts the gross revenue of that generation back into the end users pocket. How about eating the big utilities lunch for a change and give the monetary advantage to John Q. Citizen.

Wind turbines are big, ugly assaults on the eyes and ears of people and they are brutal killers of birds and bats. As you correctly stated Justthinkin; zealots supporting these monstrosities are not reasonable beings. It is like beating your head against a brick wall and expecting anything but a bloody head and a headache to attempt to reason with them or to point out the hypocrisy of their environmental concerns. That said, it is fun to poke holes in everything their unstable mentalities concoct!

The imposition of the personal beliefs of liberals/Liberals on 100% of the population at the expense of 100% of the population and their ancestors. All pay for the pet projects of the few. Those who believe taxes are “fair” and “I don’t mind paying them” think that way because they use taxes as their form of donations. They can’t be bothered to voluntarily donate to charities and causes that are many times more efficient in the delivery of their services.
Here is just a quick list of the many things, that not all believe in but all are forced to pay for.
Welfare. Public education. Welfare programmes. Abortions. Health Care. Feminism. Gun Registries. Enviroment. City Garbage systems. CRTC. CBC.
Ad Nauseum…..and the like.

Ir is long past time we took the enviro-kooks, at their word.
If product is the result of a process they protest, we strip them of that product.
What would they have left?
A smug glow of righteousness and a set of the emperors new clothes?
The hypocrisy is impossible to bypass.
The slaughter of endangered raptors by windmills is somehow OK, yet the death of common ducks is a major environmental sin and prosecution was swift and heavy.
This behaviour by zealots within our agencies, brings government into disrepute.
Failure to apply the law equally, means No Law at all.
Environment Canada is a lawless organization, completely unchecked and unsupervised.
All they are lacking, in their cute little uniforms, is an armband and the SS logo.

The left-right dimension is meaningless to most people. You have to explain it its most basic prinicpals, when all parties promise gifts and goodness.
The left are Plato’s republicans, who believe that the philosophers, the educated ones, the cognicentii (Kerry, Obama), rule the masses, as they know what’s best for them. Only the state can bestow rights and allow things.
The right is liberatarian. All is allowed and anyone can do anything, but the state, through common agreement, restricts certain things, such as murdeer, theft, etc. and creates a mechanism to resolve disputes (the law). For the right, the state is a necessary evil, prone to corruption, therefore it’s purview must be severely restriced.
