Local elections 2013: Nigel Farage’s Ukip surges to best ever showing, winning 150 seats

Your Moral And Intellectual Superiors

@DougSaunders I know exactly who Nigel Farage is. Unlike you, who apparently can’t tell a Nazi salute from your own reflection…

  1. Damn headlines.They can’t even put 147.Nooooooo.Gotta be 150 and almost 150.
Guess they were too nervous to even get that right. Anywho, hope Saunders is choking on his exploding head and N@zi salutes right about now.Gotta see how the wanker spins this.

  2. The Blubb always has a “leftist” in residence, to annoy people. Heather Mallick seems to have been too disagreeable even for Blubbers (I wonder what she is like in person – I’ll take that back, I really don’t want to know); Tabatha Southey, a nasty flake, nothing but mouth, though with an interesting way with husbands; and of course the perennial Rick Salutin, who does have some knowledge of world affairs, however perverted his conclusions may be. Dougie Saunders is right down there – he isn’t quite as nasty as Mallick, he certainly isn’t as intelligent as Salutin – yes, he comes in as a male Tabatha – a little more persistent, though.

  3. From The Guardian:

[David]Cameron, who once described Ukip as fruitcakes and closet racists, admitted his mistake, saying it was no good insulting a political party that people had chosen to vote for: “We need to show respect for people who have taken the choice to support this party. And we’re going to work really hard to win them back.”

In a Canadian context, who does that remind you of? Oh, I know: Every Lieberal and Media Party member when describing anyone who chooses not to ingest the Canadian Leftist Kool-Aid.

  4. Hey isn’t that the guy Saunders was talking about? He’s really on top of things…able to inform the public of upcoming events and all that.

  5. Saunders should go home to fight the resurgence of 1930s style nationalism.

  6. I find it fascinating that we can have a future news story “such as in 2014 when the party came second”; or is this another case of our “intellectual superiors” not even knowing what year this is?

  7. Guys like Saunders haven’t the time or brain capacity to understand anything other than leftist tripe. If there are not words like “progressive, thinking, reasonable, non-judgmental or hopeful” in the literature or speeches of the candidates, they are unable to follow the logic. It causes their short-circuited wiring to smolder.

  8. I know who Nigel Farage is and wish him well but I’ve never heard of Doug Saunders. Sounds like I’m not missing much.

  9. Popular Vote:
    Labour:29%; Conservative:25%; UKIP:23%; LibDem:14%.
BBC political editor Nick Robinson said the vote shares confirmed four party politics were at play in these elections, but it was still unclear if this would carry through to a general election.
Statistics are always “unclear” when they don’t support your narrative.
