Blue Leftist cities are always amusing to watch, because they never evaluate potential consequences, and as a result they end up contradicting themselves constantly. For example, here’s a new law that NY enacted before the arrival of the Socialist Nitwit that goes into effect in 2030. Note that the law requires A/C to be at OR BELOW 78 degrees F.
(((Under NYC’s Cooling Requirement Law, building owners must provide and maintain air conditioning for bedrooms upon tenant request. During the “cooling season” (June 15 – Sept. 15), landlords must ensure sleeping rooms stay at or below 78°F when outdoor temperatures exceed 82°F. DIFFERENCE it makes when we cool the air volume in a building of say 20 units, heave the excess heat outside where it mixes *****over time****** with a volume of air equivalent to the area of the building X 10 miles above atmosphere? hmmm? the ‘calories of heat’ have now been REMOVED from the dwelling, mixed in with more heated OUTSIDE air which over time gets stirred up and dissipated.
