  1. Considering that most of the celebrants in this video were crapping in their nappies when Margaret Thatcher was PM, I find it a rather disgusting display of socialist bravado.

  2. So then, apparently all references to pathetic dental neglect are true??
Well crimmeny, blow me oot, mate!

  3. What a bunch of slimy little weasels. Every once in a while I get so angry inside that I am inclined to punch someone’s lights out. This is one of those times.

  4. In Britain, dentistry is ‘managed’ by the National Health Service. Visual proof of the superiority of socialized medicine! Well-off Britons go to Europe for dental work.

  5. There are also private clinics in the U.K. But yeah, socialized medicine does for your health what British dentistry does for your teeth.

  6. Socialism is ugly, no matter how you view it. They remind me of the filthy Bolsheviks.
On that note, this evening I read an interesting essay in a precis form about Hayek and his views on economics and freedom. Some of you may have seen this site.
The Library of Economics and Liberty
    http://www.econlib.org/library/Enc/bios/Hayek.html
There are also a number of additional articles

  7. Wasn’t there link here a bit back espousing in a general way how folks on the left are physically uglier than those on the right…. Seems to me the same goes for the spiritual dimension as well.
These people seemed to personify wretchedness – it must be a bunch of fringies. Seriously hope thats all it is. Yikes

  8. The first thing that came to mind watching that gaggle of benefits-dependents flopping about in the breeze was, thank god I am not there, the smell must be something awful.
The dental work is just the visible reminder.
Rotted brains, rotted hygiene, rotted morals.
Hard to believe this tribe withstood the previous wave of fascism that swept over Europe. And once the current wave ascends the throne of political power through their ovarian offensive, this unkempt lot will be swept aside as the rubbish they look like.
    Woe Britannia indeed.

  9. Thank=you for that link, Ken (kulak). Recently I reread Hayek’s “The Road to Serfdom”; I had not read it for decades – years ago my Dad saw me rooting around for a book to read and he unearthed a thin book and said: “Why don’t you read this, You might learn something!” That thin brown book was “The Road to Serfdom.”
‘The Road to Serfdom” had a profound influence on my thought patterns for the rest of my life. My Granddad and my Mom and Dad feared and hated Communism and the noble Mr. Hayek re-enforced everything they said at the dinner table about ‘that brute Stalin’.
Here is a link to a compressed edition of ‘The Road to Serfdom’ with a link at the web page to the full edition. I read that book when I was 10, it would be a good gift for any child for Christmas or birthday or grad.

  10. Obama Chastises First Lady Over Unsightly Panty Lines
sample: A press pool correspondent recalled a golfing outfit that unleashed Mrs. Obama’s fury.
“One day when Obama returned from the golf course, Mrs. Obama shrieked when she saw his attire. She belittled him in front of his staff, telling him that if he wanted to dress like a three year old, then he could sleep in a crib. She was brutal. When he tried to explain himself she gave him the hand! She told him to ‘talk to the hand, because the First Lady isn’t home.’ I felt so sorry for him.”
Jay Carney issued a statement to the press today.
“President Obama would never berate his wife in front of others … panty lines or not.” Mr. Carney shuddered and left the podium.
    …………………………………………….
    Geeze.
Want’a know the root cause of terrorist attacks?
    How’s about attacks period?

  11. Thanks Jema for the link. My oldest grandson in grade 5 will interested in this, although I expect that he could already understand most of the full version.
I recently finished reading The Road to Serfdom and it confirmed my views to a T.

  12. Re: The pussywhipped POTUS.
Seems to be a Democrat tradition.
I’d guess that when it’s over Obama will see as much of Michele as Bill sees of Hilary.

  13. I work down by the Old Court House (now Art Gallery) in Vancouver, and I could swear I saw the exact same bunch at the 4/20 demo there last week. Dirty, smelly lot, all of them!

  14. I could only watch a minute of the swill without the sound on.
A bunch of ghouls. The future — heck, the present — of Britain: Run, run away!
‘Empty the churches and this is what happens. What would you rather: Choir boys and hymns or slime buckets brandishing beer bottles? At some point, people have to make a choice, and it’s clear that Britain has chosen … poorly.

  15. A juxtaposition that requires no further comment:
Chris Cassidy of the Boston Herald:

Marathon bombings mastermind Tamerlan Tsarnaev was living on taxpayer-funded state welfare benefits even as he was delving deep into the world of radical anti-American Islamism, the Herald has learned.
State officials confirmed last night that Tsarnaev, slain in a raging gun battle with police last Friday, was receiving benefits along with his wife, Katherine Russell Tsarnaev, and their 3-year-old daughter….In addition, both of Tsarnaev’s parents received benefits, and accused brother bombers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan were recipients through their parents when they were younger, according to the state.

    Thomas Friedman of the NYT:

Until we fully understand what turned two brothers who allegedly perpetrated the Boston Marathon bombings into murderers, it is hard to make any policy recommendation other than this: We need to redouble our efforts to make America stronger and healthier so it remains a vibrant counterexample to whatever bigoted ideology may have gripped these young men. With all our warts, we have built a unique society — a country where a black man, whose middle name is Hussein, whose grandfather was a Muslim, can run for president and first defeat a woman in his own party and then four years later a Mormon from the opposition, and no one thinks twice about it. With so many societies around the world being torn apart, especially in the Middle East, it is vital that America survives and flourishes as a beacon of pluralism.
Rebuilding our strength has to start with healing our economy …
And the best place to start is with a carbon tax.

  16. The lefties want the manufacturing jobs back? Fine, organize a trip for them to Shanghai where they can work alongside Chinese workers in the factories that make the running shoes and jeans they’re wearing. The whiny little snots wouldn’t last an hour.

  17. “Rotted brains, rotted hygiene, rotted morals” AND rotted molars!
A little gallows humor. England nearly singlehandededly created democratic Western civilization. Now England is self destructing. In all likelihood, the rest of the West will follow.

“Record cold will mean costlier bread”
“It’s known as winter wheat and is key to flour and exports, but freezing temperatures have added to drought to slash production figures.”
“Boy, was the groundhog wrong. It seems the winter weather currently gripping much of the Midwestern U.S. just won’t let go. But this cold spell is more than just an annoyance — it’s creating some major problems for the nation’s economically important wheat crop.
Record low temperatures, combined with the ongoing historic drought, are damaging winter wheat across the Great Plains states. And that will likely mean higher prices through much of the food chain.”

  19. All attention seems to be on the two bombers caught last friday. The Saudi citizen that was to be deported keeps getting some attention too, hence the quick deportation order after Michelle Obama had visited him in the hospital…

Abdul Rahman Al-Harbi’s White House visits…
    “HOLY CRAP–
Saudi student Abdul Rahman Ali Issa Al-Salimi Al-Harbi was injured in the Boston Marathon Bombings.
He was once a “person of interest” in the bombings. He was put on a terror watch list after the bombings.”

“Court rules lawsuits against wind companies don’t have to wait”
“Ontario’s Superior Court has ruled legal claims against wind companies and landowners who agree to have turbines on their property can proceed as soon as a project is approved.
Huron-Bruce MPP Lisa Thompson said in a statement “It is a landmark decision and allows property owners who feel their property is being devalued by wind turbines an open and transparent voice in our court system. This is a major step in the right direction, and I am pleased that people with genuine concerns about wind turbines will have their voices heard.”
The ruling, released on Tuesday, is based on reports that found homes in wind turbine zones are selling for less than market value.
It also considered evidence from a doctor on the possible detrimental health effects of wind turbines.”

  22. Ken (Kulak) @ 9:55 a.m.:
I get the impression from that Bill Maher video that the “Center for Study of Hate and Extremism” should have been called the “Center for the Whitewashing of Hate and Extremism”.

  23. Floss, floss, floss! Sure everyone brushes their teeth like they’re supposed to, but how many of them actually floss. Flossing cleans the area between your teeth where food can get stuck and bacteria can spread. This will also prevent the onset of possible infections that can occur if you don’t floss.
