  1. Here we go again. LAS is trying to get his dad mad by showing how “libertarian” he is. Do YOU know how Western civilisation gave you the freedom to act and say what you please and you use it to excuse anything because you don’t want to put a trip anybody? Really brave there.
Replace “lesbian fetish freaks” with “Muslim fanatic inserting a ring through his cousin-wife’s nose and leading her around with it” and see how willing you are to support it. Are there any lines left to cross? We’ve tolerated this. What’s next?

  2. Why, it was Alberta, with forced sterilizations right up until 1970.
Gee, maybe that’s why Alberta has always been conservative. Less so now the degenerates are moving in from other areas.

  3. What’s next?
Don’t know, but I know that if it’s more along the lines of ‘leased lesbians’ it won’t hurt us or lead to the end of western civilization. Seriously, everytime a societal change occurs and ‘deviant’ behaviour is unleased we always hear from KULTUR WARRIOR bedwetters like you about how this will lead to Dark Places. We heard this when gay marriage came about and it was bull then. Your schtick is old and boring. You lost the Kultur War get over it.

  4. Wow, has this thread gone down the drain. It seems once a year of so I get rather embarrassed to be a conservative. There are people here implying and others outright saying they wish for a famine so they can kill those they find deviant. Going Godwin is too easy when you remember that’s what happened in Germany when they went through hyper inflation and then the depression. I cannot understand how grown adults can get so worked up about a couple of consenting adults and a leash. Sure, they’re attention seekers. So what? A Muslim woman forced into that by a misogynist husband is different and if you can’t see that no amount of words will open your eyes. So I’ll tell you this: THIS heavily armed and military-trained conservative will be only too willing to defend the “weirdos” if that famine ever comes. I think you guys know who you are so I tell you, if that day ever comes, come to my neighbourhood and we’ll see just how willing you are to bleed for your ideals.
    Seriously, I am disgusted.

  5. How many times have we heard that little cultural fallacy before? If it’s not “it won’t hurt us”, it’s “none of our business”, “that’s how they do things in their country” and so on. You and your little gaggle of Kultur Warriors you never seem to name or prove exist (except in your imagination) would turn a blind eye to anything and that’s part of the problem. I’m sure these fetish cretins want- like you- to get their dads mad or show society up for whatever reason or just get attention but so do Occupests, Idle No More and any other leftist mongrel you wish to name. No one says anything and then it snowballs to the point where if one wanted to, one cannot. Their ideologies and their reasons should be shamed, marginalised and treated like the kultur krap that they are instead of pretending that ultimately they do nothing. Not everything is an innocuous phase teen-agers (or people who act like them) snap out of.
Show how me how this will never do anything to the culture at large? No, please, LAS. This isn’t time for one of your “I’m better than you” smug-a-thons. Show me how the world and the people in it really do live in bubbles and nothing they say or so has any effect on anyone or anything else. Just go.
This tough guy nonsense is just that. Bleed or whatever you do.

  6. THIS heavily armed and military-trained conservative will be only too willing to defend the “weirdos” if that famine ever comes.
Hey, the keyboard commandos are out…

  7. Show how me how this will never do anything to the culture at large?
LOL. It’s not my job to prove a negative or to make sense of the rest of your word-salad style post. No really you’re incoherent. Are you pasting together standard-issue KULtur WARRIOR buzz-phrases?

  8. “You mean like George Bernard Shaw?”
What the hell does GBS have to do with anything we’re talking about you raving lunatic?
We’re talking about a bunch of dimwitted clowns stumbling around in the comment section of Canada’s angriest blog, revelling in the idea of other human beings dying because they believe them to be degenerates.
You can try and redirect this conversation onto all of the “villains” of the left who you want to believe to be Nazi sympathizers, but it’s you guys who are right now talking like Nazis. Face it, you’re lousy excuses for human beings, and the blogger who hosts you is the worst of the lot.

  9. Stradivarius >
LoL, I was thinking the same thing.
As least something apparently disgusts him.
Namely people who are disgusted with all the parasitic weirdos wandering our streets, nice.
Hope he’s got lots of preps to feed them, they’ll go fast. Then guess who will be wandering into the wrong neighbourhood all ninja commando style.

  10. Just laugh at them constantly like you would any village idiots pretending to be grown up. The gentle ridicule will drive them nuts especially if given in a none confrontational way by the residents of your neighborhood. To your daughter just explain there are people who have brain damage damaged but not enough to put in an institution. Using laughter rather than givig them pretence to think what they are doing is rwal edgy is effective at a deep level. It spoils the spoof.

  11. By my read, the parent doesn’t seem to be able to form a judgment about the appropriateness of the women’s behaviour, or, rather, is fighting an illiberal judgment with which he/she is not entirely comfortable for whatever reason, and/or is experiencing a certain level of fear about how the sight of the behaviour will effect the four-year-old daughter. So then the parent decides that, from among the available options, the bestest way to sort out the issues involved is to seek help from the Globe and Mail advice columnist.
Said columnist then selects the letter or email from, presumably, many others, for reasons that may or may not coincide with the best interests of the parent or child, and then kinda’ advises, in a meandering and inconclusive response, that the best approach for the parent is to go up and get to know the women.
And I’m thinkin’, what’s more pathetic — the women, the parent or the Globe and Mail advice columnist? But I do know it’s a close race.

  12. Personally, I don’t care and wonder why this topic has even been brought up? Where it might get interesting is if one of the parties was wearing an electronic dog training collar which delivers a shock whenever the wearer performs an action which requires punishment. It would get even more interesting if the dog training collar had a wireless link to a webserver which allowed anyone in the world accessing that web site to shock the wearer of the dog training collar. Presumably the individual walking the “dog” being trained would have a head mounted video camera streaming wireless video to the webserver which allowed individuals accessing the website to see the effects of their clicking on the “Shock” button.
Now that would be interesting from both a technical perspective in terms of hardware and software implementation as well as the response of wetware to randomly timed punishment signals. Generally such situations result in either a withdrawn depressive response or psychosis and I’m sure there are lots of people just salivating at the possibility of shocking perverts online to find out which path the “dog” chooses.

  13. What I would tell my little grandkids about this kind of dumb stuff is to watch the 2013 Budweiser commercial and then sit with me while I have a Bud and I will fully explain with is right with this world!!!!!

  14. At one time the answer would have been to have locked them up in an asylum for a few years so that they could receive appropriate care.
And I don’t think there’s any sensible argument against that.

  15. or maybe find out there names, take photos and publish them on the internet.
You could save them for a few years later too so you can publish them again when they’re in successful jobs.

  16. And I don’t think there’s any sensible argument against that.
Aside from our inherent individual rights.

  17. ” It seems once a year of so I get rather embarrassed to be a conservative.” the rat
I thought I was a conservative but the more I got to understand conservatives less comfortable I became with their politics and the kind of people they attract. Their viscous dislike of women, children, gays, immigrants and pretty much everyone who isn’t exactly like them is quite repulsive. Conservative economic ideas are fine in theory…if only they’d practice what they preach.
Libertarianism is really the only option for those who value economic and personal freedom.

  18. This sort of behaviour is not illegal, and probably has never been illegal anywhere. What to tell kids, who will be seeing such things online in a few years if they are not doing so already? It is a good opportunity to discuss one’s responsibilities to one’s fellow human beings. Dull. Boring.
But what are contemporary mores? I was more than a little – surprised – by this link on Aaron Clarey’s website, with pictures of – presumptively – ordinary mothers and their children: http://www.reddit.com/r/badmothers
Caution: most of the pictures and clips are pornographic, and do illustrate the extent to which pornography has soaked into US culture – probably ours, as well.

  19. It’s funny how much you guys hate the Talaban here. You have so much in common.
From what I’ve read here, I would be surprised if you guys could be easily encouraged to participate in a good ol’ fashioned stoning.

  20. So, Norm, you’d be teaching your little people that — in addition to discretion — modesty, goodness and loving kindness are the better parts of valour in respect of the living beings in your care, just like the guy in the ad demonstrates. And that, if you do all that, you just might get it all back in spades — with the added value of having gotten a pecuniary profit for doing so!
And maybe that some things, like, er, self-absorption with respect to one’s sexual identity, to the point of public spectacle — regardless of one’s “inherent individual rights” to do so — is not everybody’s cup of tea.
Wow, man, that’s way heavy! I think I gotta get the Globe and Mail advice columnist on that one!

  21. “Libertarianism is really the only option for those who value economic and personal freedom.”
I agree with you there. I would happily vote for a principled big “L” libertarian party if one existed. It would have to be practical, though, because there is a need for government and a need for taxes, it’s just how much on both and what we use the latter for that I want to talk about. The CPC is the only alternative that comes close. Getting worked up about who’s doing whom seems like so much effort to no real effect. And I get especially worked up by calls to put people in camps for the sin of being different. I thank God, and yeah, I believe in the Christian God, that all these old farts in walkers will move on soon enough. Still, if the “famine” comes I’ll be the guy fighting the next brown shirts or the next SS. So many others here will happily be putting on the death’s head gear and firin’ up the ovens.
I have to say, it would be nice to know what our host thinks, sometimes. It’s one thing to troll us with the posts and watch the crazies froth, it’s another not to comment on what they spew. I’m a proud bannee from Free Dominion. In the end I knew exactly where Connie Fournier stood and I wasn’t about to support her.

  22. Libertarianism is really the only option for those who value economic and personal freedom.
Ding ding ding we have a winner!
The CPC is the only alternative that comes close.
That’s like stating whether London or Tokyo is closer to the sun. The CPC is the death of Canadian limited government.

  23. The Rat >
“……..It’s one thing to troll us with the posts and watch the crazies froth”
The only crazy’s frothing on this post is Commando Bob with the “I’m heavily armed” threats against those he doesn’t like – oops, hey that’s you.
Yea, praying for a famine is not the same thing as running around as Nazi’s and brown-shirts killing people ya dipshit. You made that all up in your head and pretended that it means the same thing.
If and when a famine, pandemic, or economic collapse ever happens I hope to hell they go running to you for help first. Guess that makes me EVIL.
    Have fun, cheers.

  24. Kate starts a thread with “we need a famine” and rat whines because
“it would be nice to know what our host thinks, sometimes”.
Well I suppose Kate could draw a picture and put a frame around it so that the willfully blind could find their way around and understand what free speech without a PC road map entails, but other than that if some are fine with someone leading another human being around with a leash and a dog collar in broad daylight what more needs or can be said?

  25. LC Bennett >
“Libertarianism is really the only option for those who value economic and personal freedom.”
Well like many you can be fiscally conservative and socially Libertarian without that faux hypocritical Libertarian drivel that LAS spouts either.
I’m socially libertarian, and that gives me the right to not like certain freaks and socialists that wish to impose their pathetic lifestyles on me or my children. Doesn’t mean I would hurt one of them, I’m just not going to let them stick their BS in my personal space, and won’t give them a dime of my time. That’s where the fiscal conservative kicks in.
I’m sorry I was just born that way.

  26. Well, actually nold, what I think from my reading comprehension level is that Kate posted something poking fun at a dad’s inability to decide what his values dictated and he needed to write a letter to a newspaper to get advice. I didn’t get that she was particularly bashing the exhibitionist lesbians but I suspect she would find it strange, and maybe an obnoxious use of free speech and expression. I didn’t get that she wants to impose her values on the lesbians nor that she supports re-education camps, psyche ward committals, or a new holocaust. That sounds an awful lot like what the lefties want for people like us. I think she’s better than that. I figure she thinks we need a famine so people stop being whiny milquetoast losers that cannot form their own opinion, not so we can eliminate those we dislike. That’s what I got. Now it’s possible I am wrong because it seems a lot of the people here think she agrees with them when they post their ravings. I’d dearly love to know which group is correct. She doesn’t owe me an answer, though. I just ask.
As for being a keyboard commando, I stand 100% behind what I wrote. The day the nastiest of the bigots on this site get the guts up to act on their musings I will be standing in the way. Never again. That means something to me.

  27. the rat >
“I didn’t get that she was particularly bashing the exhibitionist lesbians……”
    – Not waiting for the Asteroid –
Just for kicks, what does your reading comprehension interpret that statement to mean?
You’re more than welcome to defend societies deviants that wish to get in children’s personal space with their sexual fetishes, and we have a right to speak out against it. The only person here who has threatened personal physical violence against anyone is YOU.
So STFU about it already, or go post on NAMBELA, cause were NOT going to back off on YOU. We’ve got kids to defend.

  28. rat, I take it that Kate’s Famine would be desirable not because people might die, but rather with a view to a reorganization of priorities. It’s almost as if a society where S&M practices are paraded around in public in front of children has become a tad decadent.
knight 99 – “The only person here who has threatened personal physical violence against anyone is YOU.”
Well, I think Slater suggested that it might be something to look into, but that’s par for the course.

  29. Actually Romans chapter 1 gives a pretty good explanation of why this behavior is becoming prevalent.

  30. I’m socially libertarian
No you’re not. You’re a pathological liar and you’re the one whining about lesbian exhibitionists, not me.
a society where S&M practices are paraded around in public in front of children has become a tad decadent.
I’m not a fan of exhibitionist leash-holders, but you could replace the word ‘S&M practices’ with ‘gun culture’ and ‘decadent’ with ‘violent’ and it’s Tuesday at Daily Kos.

  31. Black Mamba >
“Well, I think Slater suggested that it might be something to look into….”
Yea, I looked back at Slater and don’t see it personally, sounded more like a petition thing to me.
Whatever, it’s the usual pretentious rejects posting their holier than thou hypocritical BS again. They are biggest bigots around, yet because its bigotry against conservatives that don’t like open sexual deviants parading their neighborhood in front of their children it’s ok to hate AND threaten.
So f*ck em anyway, it’s our nonchalant attitudes that brought this onto our streets in the first place. If it takes a famine to get rid of it, bring it on, anyone with a grip has been ready for years now.

  32. LAS >
“No you’re not. You’re a pathological liar and you’re the one whining about lesbian exhibitionists, not me.”
Ha. Calling you the village idiot around here would be far too kind. You’re the “Libertarian” that likes bombing little villages around the world and supporting Al Qaeda not me.
Of course you would defend these deviant freaks messing with everyone else’s children, you’ve defended other paedophiles on other threads as well. Sorry if I give a rats f*ck what an idiot like you thinks about what’s normal or what being libertarian really means (pardon the rat pun).
FYI – “Gun Culture” is what built our country’s not paedophilia sorry to say. The rest of you just suck off the teat of the land that gun culture built and still defends for your sorry ass today.

  33. “My mind reels that I pay taxes through the nose so that idiots can have kids that they have no idea how to raise.”
    – – –
In defense of (many of) them, you generally have no clue that you have no clue how to raise kids until you realize that you’ve raised kids with no clue. The parents of the leashed one may not yet know or understand what they’ve unleashed, or even how this might have happened.
Nobody decides to raise their kid to be comfortable with publicly displaying their own domination relationships or their current collection of fetish-leather fashions – the idea never really crosses our radars. It’s not “let’s make her Goth and subservient” – it’s more like “her? – yeah, I think she’s around here somewhere . . .”

  34. “a society where S&M practices are paraded around in public in front of children has become a tad decadent.”
I’m not a fan of exhibitionist leash-holders, but you could replace the word ‘S&M practices’ with ‘gun culture’ and ‘decadent’ with ‘violent’ and it’s Tuesday at Daily Kos.
    _____
So, if I find self-absorbed and/or narcissistic public statements of sexual identity (and the example here strikes me as an in-your-face statement, not an invitation for discussion) socially inappropriate and generally in bad taste, that would make me the moral equivalent of somebody who posts on a vulgar left-wing blog that “gun culture” gets paraded through residential streets on the same basis? Have I got that right?
I note the irony of your position, which is strikingly reminiscent of the one espoused in that Liberal Party ad (“Soldiers. With guns. On our streets. In Canada.”). Which is even more ironic, since the Liberal Party is all for the, you know, in-your-face public statement of sexual “diversity”, which, according to them, might even be more important in Ontario today than the economy or that five-alarm $272 billion provincial debt that’s being fueled by the annual $15- or $20-billion deficit that Mr. McGuinty said wouldn’t happen if he became premier.
Aside from which, I’d just offer up a subtle difference that you might consider — if I were to walk down a residential street making an in-your-face statement about my “gun culture” identity (say by, er, publicly brandishing a firearm), I doubt whether anybody on that street would feel the need to consult the Globe and Mail advice columnist on what to do: tolerance (which implies the willingness to live with inconveniences, as opposed to the acceptance of those inconveniences) might not be the response. In fact, I reckon I’d be arrested — assuming I survived the encounter with the police.

  35. “What do I tell my kid?”
Look Dear, there’s Pauline Marois taking NDPiste for a walk.

  36. Well … IF … you were in Britain … it would be a different story.
But here in Canada we still get to call them freaks because it is true. We get to mock them as we please.
So when you see em in the street … point and laugh.

  37. Lucky for the girl walker and her (dog/girl) they are not stay at home moms or the feminists would be in an uproar about this. This and the killing of unborn females is perfectly OK for the liberated feminists.

  38. The disgusting part of this thread is that too many people let the weirdo’s frame this as “Exhibitionism” and that anyone in disagreement is a Nazi.
There is no proof of their intentions in the article, exhibitionism or otherwise – the weirdo’s made it up!
There is also no correlation between people wanting weirdoes off their streets and away from their children to Nazi’s – Again the weirdo’s made it up.
Not once will the faux libertarian’s talk about your rights or your children’s rights – they only talk about the rights of the weirdo’s to infringe on your rights. Namely a physically safe and mentally healthy environment for your children to grow and play as their forefathers left as an inheritance.
These “people” are nothing more than decadent squatters that Liberalism dropped on our doorsteps to subvert.

  39. “- Not waiting for the Asteroid –
Just for kicks, what does your reading comprehension interpret that statement to mean?”

Good god, you don’t know, do you? It means the old media isn’t waiting for the asteroid to kill them, they’re doing it themselves. It’s a reference to suicide. I’ll STFU now, as you so eloquently asked me to, ’cause it’s obvious I’m in a battle of wits with an unarmed man!
